Viruses are very small germs. They are made of genetic material (either DNA or RNA) within a protein coating.Viruses do not feed each other, nor do they relate.
To make copies of themselves they necessarily require the intervention of a cell. Therefore, viruses are not living beings. That is why they are not included in any Kingdom in which living beings are included.
Viruses can act in two different ways: Reproducing inside the infected cell, using all the material and machinery of the host cell. Binding to the genetic material of the cell in which it resides, producing genetic changes in it.
A virus is an infectious particle that reproduces by "taking over" a host cell and using its machinery to create more viruses. A virus is made up of a DNA or RNA genome inside a protein shell called a capsid. Some viruses have an outer membrane envelope.
Currently more than 5,000 have been described, and some authors believe that there could be millions of different types. Viruses are found in almost all ecosystems on Earth; They are the most abundant biological entity.
In addition to potentially providing food for other microbes, viruses play several ecological roles that remain poorly understood. Each species has viruses that can infect it. These can spread widely within a population, reducing the number of species, especially among microbes.

Here are some notable human viruses:

Influenza viruses (Flu): Influenza viruses cause seasonal flu outbreaks. The virus has different strains, and the flu vaccine is updated annually to protect against the most prevalent ones.

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV): HIV attacks the immune system, leading to acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) if not treated. It is primarily transmitted through unprotected sexual intercourse, contaminated blood transfusions, and the sharing of contaminated needles.

Viruses are infectious microorganisms that can live inside humans, plants and animals affecting their health. They are acellular which means that they arent made of multiple cells. They can reproduce really fast when living inside an organism. Viruses are made of a nucleid acid and protein.

-Alisson Garces

viruses are microscopic organisms, they are made of genetic material, is an infectious agent that only replicate only inside the living cells of an organisms. examples of human diseases is the influenza, They may use an animal, plant, or bacteria host to survive and reproduce.Viruses generally come in two forms: rods or spheres. However, bacteriophages (viruses that infect bacteria) have a unique shape, with a geometric head and filamentous tail fibers.

A virus is a infective agent can replicate with a host. They’re a small piece of genetic information (DNA or RNA) inside of a protective shell (capsid). Some viruses also have an envelope. Virus can infect bacterias, plants and animals. Viruses are so small that you need a microescope to look at them. some tipes of virus are coronavirus, rotavirus, influenza.

Cristina Morales

A virus is an infectious microorganism that consists of a segment of nucleic acid (DNA or RNA) surrounded by a protein coat. A virus cannot replicate itself; Instead, it must infect cells and use components of the host cell to make copies of itself. Often, a virus ends up killing the host cell in the process, causing damage to the host organism. Some well-known examples of viruses that cause disease in humans include AIDS, COVID-19, measles, and smallpox.
