Best restaurant in town: Fat Alice
Activities/sport: we have no special sports in my town. But then I would choose soccer :)
Other places: I would say the "zandenplas" that is a Recreational lake.

Hidden spots: We have a large area of nature where you can go for a walk. It is just not very well known.
Best restaurant: Vaassen does not have very good restaurants. But if I have to choose I will go for Kapadokya. 
What activities/sport should your fellow-students should do: I would go for mountain biking, because we have a lot of places or routes where you can do that.
What other places should your fellow-students visit: Vaassen is very small so there is like nothing to do. I would recommend going to Apeldoorn or Epe.

It´s basically the first thing what comes to mind for foreigners when they think about the country. The nature is beautiful and the region is very peaceful. Rovaniemi is often viewed as the main city in Lapland which it pretty much is. There's tons of restaurants around Rovaniemi so I don't really know what's the best one. 

When travelling to Lapland I'd recommend going to different safaris (dogs/huskies, reindeer, snowmobiles) and trying out downhill skiing or snowboarding.

About other places to visit, maybe Kittilä/Levi and Pyhä-Luosto. If you really want to experience the real nature of Lapland I suggest heading north to Utsjoki. It's such a magical place, no tourists, only about 2000 people live there and the wasteland/wilderness is unlike any other. Activivities/Sport: We have many different sports, not one stand out that you really should.
Other places: de Kotermeestal is fantastic. It is a swimming area.
