         <description><![CDATA[<div>I have focused on some of the elements of the personal literacy tool test. I have chosen areas that I feel are most relevant to my curriculum area and my students.  I am unclear when this 12 month plan is meant to start and so I have tailored quite a lot to the development of our new specification which starts in September 2017.  I have taken month 1 to be January 2017</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Learn about <strong>Google Drive</strong>: I am really interested in using Google docs with students. The ability to share and collaborate on documents and activities and the capabilities that it has interests me. I am unsure if I can do this from Candi as I am not sure if students are allowed to use Google (i.e. the wifi in the SFC does not allow access to Googlemail currently).&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Reflection on development to date</strong>. Before moving on to a new area for development I would spend time reflecting on what I've learned so far. Taking month 1 as January month 7 would fall at an important time in preparing the curriculum for the linear A Level - planning time falls in July. I would hope by this point to have developed new skills that can be utilised in the new schemes of work.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Research month</strong>: this being August would be a time for research outside of work. I am interested in developing my knowledge of the 'plickers, padlets and prezis' of this world. Having time set aside to do this would be invaluable. I am interested in developing my knowledge of exit-ticket type tools such as better versions of Socrative, which I know well and use regularly. I also really like the capabilities of Plickers. I'm sure there are more versions out there.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Setting up <strong>forums</strong>.  Although I am very unsure what I will be teaching next September as the specifications are yet to be accredited, setting up forums is something that I've wanted to develop for a while.  Doing this at the start of the academic year would seem a sensible place to do it.  I do not like Moodle and so will be trying to find some suitable alternatives.  </div>]]></description>
