Are human rights and needs addressed well in the Israeli-Palestinian media or public discussions? What do the public focus on when talking about the people who are affected by human rights violations? Are you familiar with any service projects and organizations in Israel and Palestine? What can you do to inform your community about these rights and needs? How can you be a better human rights/needs advocate in your community?Do you think community service can contribute to solving this problem?Do you see the importance of service in building communities and contribute to peace?

1. In my opinion, humans rights and needs not addressed well in the Israeli Palestinian media or public discussions. They are just showing the issues without trying to solve it. In order to make a change, solutions must be found- to make our world better.
THEIR PROBLEM - OUR PROBLEM
2.
3. Actually I'm not so familiar with many services projects and organizations in Israel and Palestine. This year I joined JPB program in order to discuss important stuff and subjects and of course eventually to make a change in our world. Sometimes you start small and size up slowly, in order to understand where you are and how can you help to this problem.

I believe human rights can be better addressed everywhere and in every situation. The public generally focuses on the devastation and suffering of people who are denied human rights but not how to help solve the issues.
Several organizations like Unicef, B'Tselem, Palestinian and Israeli centers for Human Rights, JPB and others have the potential to help significantly but need more resources. There are many ways to help inform the community. Through social media, at community events, organizing events to inform others, etc. But if everyone does their part, the world will be a much better place.

I don't think that the Israeli Palestinian media and communities are addressing the issue as they should and they are just showing the issue from one perspective, they are addressing the news with extremism, they are always blaming the other side and no one shows the hole picture.so I believe that we are very responsible for where we get our information from and how we process the news that we see.

organization I know that are working on the issue are :
1. ealam institution which focuses on the Arabic community inside of Israel and uses media and journalism to fight for their rights.
2. dialogue and identity organization which works on bringing Arab and Jewish children together for one school year and organizes meetings for them.
3.Jewish for peace which is a social platform that works on showing the whole picture and both of the parties in the conflict.
4. and of course JPB

I think human rights could be achieved everywhere if there was justice and equality for all of the citizens but unfortunately I think it is not well addressed in Israel like most of the Palestinians don’t get their full rights and potentials and it is not well achieved like they are being forgotten that there are Palestinian citizens and I think this problem could be solved if there was peace between both sides.
Organizations I know that are working to help the both sides:

1- JPB(Jerusalem peace builders): this organization helps both sides Palestinians- Israelis to get to know each other and share their thoughts about the conflict and make peace together.
2-Dfb(debate for peace): this organization is not just about Palestinian-Israeli conflict it talks about peace in general.

Human rights are addressed in The Israeli-Palestinian conflict through discussions but they justify not giving a specific right because of the circumestances, which is in my opinion is wrong.Human rights should be given to all of the people without distinguishing any situation.
There are organizations that help people the palestinian people to get their basic needs like clothes.
Community service can make us more aware of whats happening around us which can contribute to people to take actions.
The love that you feel when you GIVE is much bigger than the love you feel when you TAKE.
Service is leadership.Service is the main thing to do to contribute in Peace.

1. I do not get to see Israeli Palestinian media that ofen so I cannot comment.
2. I feel like the public usually focuses on all of the things that go wrong-with human rights violations and how the problem is needs to change. For example last year there was a very bad refugee crisis in America where thousands of people were suck in cages and mothers and children were separated. The Public out cry was immense, many people called the president out for allowing this to happen. ButI think too much focus was put on what went wrong and not enough on how to fix it. in the end no real solutions were proposed.
3. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is a civil rights organization in the united states which fights against social injustice against minorities in the states.

1. In my opinion the media is one sided, they don't show the whole picture. For example, the Israeli media doesn't show almost anything about the Palestinian people and their struggles. It is not only the Israeli side. The Palestinian media has a lack of information about the Israeli community. The media represents the people from our countries as the governments which is not right. So no, human rights and needs are not addressed well in Israeli-Palestinian media or public discussions.
2. The only people I hear focus a lot on what the government says, and what they do. In my opinion it is a wring way to look at things because we are responsible for ourselves, not the government.
3. Yes I do. There is an organization called JPB that connects people from Israel-Palestine-US, I think they try to achieve the understanding that the government is not the voice of the people living in that place. Also, recently I saw a YouTube channel
