My name is Revital Erez. I want to write about the book: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, by the author J. K. Rowling. The main characters in the story are: Harry potter, Ron Weasley & Hermione Granger (his best friends), Rubeus Hagrid, Professor Albus Dumbledore, Professor Minerva McGonagall, Draco Malfoy and Professor Severus Snape. The story takes place in "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry". A short summary of the book:

After murdering Harry's parents, James and Lily Potter, evil Lord Voldemort puts a killing curse on Harry, who was just a baby. The curse (קללה) inexplicably reverses, defeating Voldemort and searing a lightning-bolt scar (צלקת בצורת ברק) in the middle of the Harry's forehead (במצחו של הארי). Harry is then left at the doorstep (הושאר על מדרגות ביתם) of his aunt and uncle, the Dursleys.

For 10 years, Harry lives in the cupboard under the stairs and is subjected to cruel mistreatment by Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon and their son Dudley. On his 11th birthday, Harry receives a letter inviting him to study magic at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Harry discovers that not only is he a wizard, but he is a famous one. He meets two best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, and makes his first enemy, Draco Malfoy. At Hogwarts the three friends are all placed into the Gryffindor house. Harry has a knack for the school sport, Quidditch, and is recruited onto the Gryffindor team as its star Seeker.

Perusing the restricted section in the library, Harry discovers that the Sorcerer's Stone produces the Elixir of Life, which gives its drinker the gift of immortality. After realizing that Voldemort might be after the stone, Albus Dumbledore had it moved it to Hogwarts for safekeeping.

Harry finds out that when she died, Lily Potter transferred to her son an ancient magical protection from Voldemort's lethal spells. This protection is what allowed Harry as an infant to survive Voldemort's attack. It also helps Harry keep Voldemort from possessing the Stone, which Dumbledore agrees to destroy.
I love the book because it's full of magic, adventures and fun !

This book is about a bear who is in a hurry to see his friends surprise, Because he was in a hurry he forgot to take his nightcap off. Then Pooh the bear finds his friends surprise. The surprise was a blackberry bush! They wanted to take some berries for their friends but they didn’t have a basket to carry the berries. But then Pooh the bear had an idea that he will put the berries in his night cap to take to his friends. At the end they ate the blueberry pie! My favourite part was when Pooh the bear had an idea to put the berries into his night cap to take to his friends.

The main characters in the story are: the littele poor girl, her mom and the old woman from the forest. the story begin when the poor girl ask her mom for food but her mom said "we dont got food left" the hungry girl start to cry and said I am hungry and run away from her house to the forest, when she was lost she saw hut and in this hut was an a old woman. the old woman saw the girl cries and come to her and said why are you crying littele girl ? the girl said i dont have what to eat and I am hungry. the old woman gave her a pot and say take this, it will help you, the girl said what will i do with a pot that i dont have what to bake ? the old woman said "cook littele pot cook" and the pot start cooking the littele girl said how it cooks like that and also delicious but how ?, when i was a littele girl like you i was hungry too, and i find this pot on this forest and i build a hut here i dont realy know how it works that what I am want to understand. ok littele girl so you still staying here ? no said the littele girl, the old woman said wait take with you the magic pot i dont need it anymore. thank you so much said the girl and went back home.

This book is about two thieves Gus and Mike. They want to break into the bank. Mr. Wood lives next to the bank. He leaves the house for a few days. Gus and Mike break into Mr. Wood's house and start breaking the wall to the bank. The wall is thick. They cant finish the work. They come the next day, but again they cant finish the work. on the third night, they have a surprise. Mr. Wood is at home. Gus and Mike tell him that they are detectives from Scotland Yard and that he is the thief. Mr. Wood calls the policemen and tells them to arrest Gus and Mike. Mr. Wood is a detective of Scotland Yard. I love the book because it's thrilling and interesting.

The Brown family decide to adopt him. Paddington is kind, always polite, friendly & loves marmalade. He is known to "try so hard to get things right. But he usually gets into trouble. I love the book because I like Paddington bear.

He makes me laugh because he is funny.

A short summary of the book: the book represents Interesting fantasy tales related to the history of a number of nations fantastic mythical creatures such as dragons. This book tells us about what a dragon is as well as describe each country's dragons in detail.

In example: Chinese dragons have a magic pearl, which gives them the power to fly and go into heaven. The Chinese believe that the dragon is powerful and wise and brings good luck.

Another example – English Dragon, English dragons have four powerful legs and claws, scales on its body, they have fangs, poisonous breath and breathe fire.

And more examples about dragons throughout the world.

In most European stories, dragons are evil creatures but Chinese folk tales are mostly about kind and helpful dragons.

I love the book because the book is packed with beautiful illustrations of these fantastic mythical creatures.

Learning of this fun dragons definitely brought a smile to my face.

My favourite part of the story is when Mr.smith shows peter

I like the book because it is about pets and I like pets.

I recommend the book because it is a book with happy end .

The main characters are: Alice, the crazy hatter, the white queen, the queen of hearts, the rabbit, the cat and the twins.
My favorite part of the book is that Alice enters Wonderland.
In my opinion the book rating is fantastic.

A short summary of the book:

The story tells about two braves children Hansel and Gretel that their mother died when they were young and stay whit their father and a cruel stepmother.

throughout the story their cruel stepmother of Hansel and Gretel try to lose them in the forest until they arrive to special cottage made of chocolate whit witch lived there.

Later in the story there are a lot of surprises.

I love the book because: it's very interesting , little scary and full of adventures. the story has a happy ending. and it's highly recommended.

Where does the story take place: the story begin is in a village and the main character move to the city.

List of Main characters: Alissa, her parents, the fat man, the thin man and his wife, the women that own the shop and the tall lady.

The plot of the story: the story begins in a village, Alissa's parents sells her to the fat man so she can work for him, she moved with him to the city. the fat man gave her to the thin man and his wife, she works for them all day. After a while the wife didn’t love Alissa and they sell her to a woman that have a shop that she can work for her all day. the work was hard and the women was evil. All the time a nice lady came to the shop and buy things, one day she forgot her purse and Alissa run to give her the purse back. When she back to the shop the owner of the shop shout at her, the nice lady came back and ask Alissa what she really want in her life and Alissa said that she want to go to school and then the nice lady take Alissa to her home and care about her and send her to school.

My favorite part of the story is the part that the nice lady take Alissa with her, she care about her, about what she want and gave her the life she deserved. Finally Alissa find a family that love her and care about her.

I think the story was fantastic!

A short summary of the book:
Heidi and Aunt Dete were at the train station because Heidi was going to move in with her grandfather on Alm Mountain, Heidi thought Grandfather was mean but when she met him she realized she was wrong.
Then she met peter the goatherd, and they started to play together a lot.
After a couple of years, Aunt Dete came to take Heidi back home.
Dete told her "A rich man wants you to come to FrankFurt to keep his sickly daughter company."
Heidi grew to love Clara, but she hated the city.
She missed going with Peter and the goats. She missed watching the sun say good night to the mountains.
Most of all, she missed her grandfather.
Meanwhile, Miss Rottenmeyer saw some unusual things going on in the house. "Theres a ghost in this house!" She told Clara's father.
That night, the two men waited up to see if they could solve the mystery.
Around midnight they heard the door creak open, it was Heidi, she explained "Im not on Alm Mountain, though, am I?"
Heidi was sick that's why she needed to go back to Alm Mountain.
Now Heidi had everything she wished for her:
home, her grandfather and her dear friends, Peter and Clara.

I loved the book because:
It's very interesting, and I like the part when she says: "The mountain tops are all burning!" but it was only the sun saying good night to the mountains.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone I know.

The book tells how Arthur become the king of England.

The story take place in England and talks about a king named Uther, that had a newborn son name Arthur.

The king had a lot of enemies in the palace, and he did not want his son to stay with them in the palace because he was afraid that bad people will kill him. so he decided (החליט) to give his son to a good knight, sir Ector , who had a son of his own , Kai , and he will raise him as his own son.

Years past and the king Uther died ,all the knights came to the center of London, there was a special and beautiful sword in a stone . the Knight that will pull the sword from the stone will become a king.

All the knights tried but everyone failed.

One day Sir Ector took Kai and Artur to a tournament of the most powerful knights in the kingdom . Kai wanted to be a knight but he forgot his sword at home. He asked Arthur to go home and bring his sword.

Arthur went home but he saw on the a way home a sword in the stone. He pulled the sword easily and took it to Kai.

When came back all the people stopped and look on Arthur holding the sword and said the is the new king of England.

I love the book because it's exciting and interesting

Little Red Riding Hood told him about her grandmother. The wolf came to Grandma preying on her and then also Little Red Riding Hood preyed on.A hunter came and tapped the wolf and saved Grandma and Little Red Riding Hood.I love this book because it teaches a lesson not to talk to strangers and not to pass information about ourselves to strangers.

and the ant explains that the winter need to stard and it wull be cold and she need pood.
then one day the winter started and the grasshopper staryed to get cold and he was left without food,

my favorite part is the message part the ant gave in the story.

The book tells about friendships, caring, and helping friends feel good about themselves.
Being a friend is not difficult, we just have to think about our words and actions, which will not hurt his feelings.
This means encouraging him when he is sad and if the problems are too big we can talk to an adult.
You don't always have to get along with everyone, but it's worth it.
It helps a lot to be a good listener and know that it's okay to have different ideas.
Friends is the right choice and feeling good, and being there when you need to accept the other and contain him.

I went to write about the book: Pooh’s First bay of school
Christophen Robin is getting ready for Pooh school and the friends also want to go to school, they decided to go to Christophen who is in school so maybe he will teach them some things.Pooh and friends came to Christophen and started learning at first they did not understand so much from what Christophen taught slowly they started to understand and loved it but finally realized it was a bit difficult they decided that every time Christophen comes back from school they will learn a bit and then go play.
I recommend the book because it is both evocative and interesting.
