<title>I really agreed with what Tyson said about how humanities have often left out books with perspectives from people in the LGBTQ community. Looking back at my experiences, I have read books by people of all races &amp; ethnicities, yet feel like I missed out on this whole other dimension of identity</title>

<title>I actually feel very comfortable discussing LGBTQ+ sexuality. many people close to me identify as queer, bi, gay, etc, and I&#39;m actually very happy that it is getting recognition and attention for discussion in a class setting</title>

<title>I think that Justin Torres&#39;s TED talk set up our queer theory unit well, because he showed how the struggles of young LGBTQ people tie in with the struggles of all kinds of teenagers / young people. I think the book is going to be interesting because it is going to be a combination of the general difficulties of being young, and the accelerated difficulties of being young and LGBTQ</title>

<title>i thought it was interesting how working class men could still be considered heterosexual if they were the one penetrating another man instead of being penetrated. it seems like a super surface level judgement that doesnt really make sense to me</title>
