Question 1
What are the activities in Facebook that have been assigned to you this semester and are these activities help you in improving your English language skills?
The activities in Facebook that have been assigned to me this semester is that we are required to list a word and look for noun, verb, adverb and adjective for the word. The second is answering the Lira test.  We are required to select a story and answer 1 question given by madam in summary form. The third is that we are required to create role-play based on several topics given and done in 2 or 3 people in one group. The fourth is that we are required to create a video what I’m doing in my mid sem break. Recently we were also required to make video about promoting food in Kedah such as in UiTM or nearby Merbok and Sungai Petani. These activities will definitely improve my English language skills. This is because, through the videos that we create, we can further enhance the confident level for speaking in English and I can feel my English language skill getting better than ever before.

Do you think the video uploads in Facebook have helped you in improving your speaking skills? How?
I think the video uploads in Facebook have helped me in improving my speaking skills. This way I can say is that when we are required to make a video, we need to speak spontaneously, so when we get used to it and will gradually increase our knowledge about speaking skills to be more perfect. In addition, in the video we need to communicate with the partner that we choose. So there will be a conversation with other people who will help us to improve speaking skills.

Question 3
Describe your “Week Without Wall” (www) video project. How did the process of working on this video help you to become an independent learner?
On “Week Without Wall” we are required to make video about promoting food in Kedah. We have 5 people in one group, we decide to go to Satay Semeling at Kampung Matahari Naik, Bedong, Kedah for our first location. We went there by taking grab for the price as low as rm6 for one trip. For the second location, we went to “Nasi Ayam Pak Mud” at Kampung Langgar, Bedong, Kedah. The process of working on this video help me to become an independent leaner is with is that I will always be aware of the assignments given during week without wall. In the week I will make sure I am not negligent with my responsibilities to finish the assignment that has been given.

Are you satisfied with your performance in ELC121 especially in your speaking skills?
I am very satisfied with my speaking skills in ELC121 for this semester. My speaking skills is getting better and improving from before. I also learned a lot of new things in ELC 121 class such as always speaking in English while in class and teaching me to try to speak even if not right.
