Nina Anderson Switches Careers

On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, the Write on Sports program interviewed Nina Anderson, a director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at Monmouth University. Anderson went to William and Mary and was a D1 college basketball player there. Then, she worked in New York City before going to law school and becoming a lawyer.

During the interview, Anderson explained the big change of her life when she moved from New York all the way to Wisconsin. She said that it was strange for her because everyone was so friendly in Wisconsin and in New York everyone was the opposite. Also, she said the scenery was different because Wisconsin was suburban while New York was just buildings.
