  • If a client wants students CVs please send them a "Client Job Spec Form". Once you received the form or a job spec from them you can than email the job spec to Leonie America to load on the Waterfall CC Website LAmerica@varsitycollege.co.za (Ext 9242)
  • You will also need to email the relevant students the information (please remove the clients email address from the job spec and add yours when sending it to the students) so you can receive all the CVs and keep track of where you sent through CVs so you can follow up on progress

    Student's Recruitment (180 hours)
    • Ensures and enables clear and open communication between the clients and the Career Centre
    • Sends a job specification to clients to complete
    • Advertises the job on the campus in relation to the relevant target market
    • Receives and screens student's CVs – interview prep/grad programmes/perm     
    • Provides general career support to students        
    • Individual student consultations                                                                                
    Alumni (40 hours)                                                                                                                         
    • Extends similar support to alumni allowing them to take advantage of professional networks
    • Remains in contact with existing Alumni and build a database of new Alumni to send through job opportunities                                     
     
    Competencies required:
    •         Advanced computer literacy essential – MS Office                                         
    •         Customer service orientation, high levels of energy and self-motivation    
    •         Highly effective communication and organisational skills                             
    •         Excellent administration and time keeping skills                                             
    •         Shown ability to manage work and self proactively
