- To respect each other's boundaries - to open up and share about what we are comfortable with and not
- As coordinators, we should plan ahead so as not to add on to stress of the teachers
- To ask how others feel about work given to them
- As teachers, we do have a lot of things on our plate and some "small small" things add up to quite a large workload and more stress.
- MOE provides guidelines to schools but different schools interpret the guidelines different and hence, the implementation processes are different. An example will be our WAs - different schools do WAs differently and parents become quite confused when they compare with others from other schools. Teachers will have to grapple with assessment, the implementation, explaining things to parents and so on. These things add a lot of unnecessary stress for the teachers.

a. officers can be more aware of what is going on outside, choosing a private sector is a good opportunity to learn new things. eg. MNC to learn about their management. SLs/ middle management should go too. longer period of time would need to be consider. 1-2 years to truly immerse in their culture, 6 months might be too short.
SLs expectations on what is useful for our/school/fraternity's development. (supportive to teachers decision)

b. be clear on what we want to learn, how it is going to be done, how it benefits ourselves and the fraternity.

1)
- Periodically update teachers of the latest ICT trends use by students so that we can relate better to them.
- It is good for teachers to share, however, we need to ensure that all teachers are present during the sharing. Set aside time during CTN for the sharing.
- SLS mini-workshop is good because of the hands-on session. I like it because it is done in a smaller group with people from our own department. The synergy is better as we can immediately plan for our department and we can also immediately ask for clarification.
- Soft-skills will be important. Teachers need to be equipped with the people skills and to be equipped to develop the the skills in our students.

2)
- To learn beyond education. Invite speakers in jobs that are not conventional to speak to students and staff. (Ex-students may be asked to share. Parent volunteers are possible candidates for this.)
- Job attachment for a term. e.g. Haryati was attached to KK. School need to plan for redundancy for this to happen.
- We might also be attached to SEN schools, like METTA. We can also do cross-level attachment too, e.g. primary school teachers attached to secondary school and vice versus. Attachment to ITE would be interesting too.
- AEDs, CMT and School Counsellors to be equipped with information regarding secondary schools "uniqueness" so as to better counsel P6 students.
