There are many threats to jaguars such as human activities: Agriculture, transportation, hunting, and deforestation. These threats have decreased jaguars chance of finding a home and surviving. According to Smithsonian, a jaguar requires up to 100 square miles of land to hunt, prey, and mate. With less land to roam and fewer wild prey for jaguars, these predators hunt livestock and deforestation.
