Growing up, hosting house shows and playing music was and is still something that helps me feel a sense of purpose. I personally booked/hosted and played multiple DIY punk shows for gay rights, women's rights, trans rights, and universal health care. Punk music allows everyone to have a voice and a chance to have it be heard.

As the graph shows Calvert county is a bit over 80% white as of 2012. Family by blood is a tough one. This photo include my mother and my sister, the other two are my step-dad and my half-brother. We can't choose who we are related to and we are kind of stuck with them, but that doesn't mean we always have to like them, just tolerate them. still love them though. I have created my own family, one that values equality and listens to one another. we educate each other when one is wrong, not punish them. Video games put you in worlds and tell stories of all types and all backgrounds. There is a game out there for everyone. For example, The Last of Us is a post apocalyptic shooter with a gay female protagonist.
