         <description><![CDATA[<div>Michael Vey was an ordinary kid, living an ordinary life of a teenager. Sometimes he would get bullied in school because he had Tourette's syndrome. One day Michael was getting jumped by a group of guys from his high school and he had no choice but to fight back. At that time his power of being able to control electricity was manifested. this shows Michael vey's strength, something his never depended on before, is his  last hope of survival. reading this book helped me understand that sometimes our strengths are hidden and don't come until we need them. The author used similes and metaphors to describe strength and power.</div>]]></description>

Physical strength isn't the only strength you need to survive in this world Helen Keller showed us that, this helped me understand my topic better. The detailed descriptions of what it took to make Hellen Keller successful is how the creator of the text got the her ideas across.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A new kid in high school was being bullied. He know he did not have the physical strength to fight. After he got jumped by a group of thugs from his high school he knew he had to learn how to fight and win. The movie showed that when we don't have the strength In ourselves we need to be able to learn how to be strong from others. The karate kid found strength in unexpected places and learned how to be strong in unorthodox way's. The movie was humorous and also showed dramatic and visual fight scenes. It made you want to cheer for the under dog&nbsp;when he found his strength and became the hero.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

The painting "hidden strength" is a depiction of Rosie the Riveter.&nbsp; Knowing the history behind the picture helped me understand that when its needed unexpected people step up and show strength. The creator got this idea across by using an iconic image, dramatic colors and brush strokes.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
