         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Spirit Mound is found on the top of a large mound in the Great Plains. Some animals that live in the great plains are Bison, Red Fox, Hawk, Pronghorn, Bobcat, Prairie, Chicken, Burrowing, Owl, Pocket, Gopher, Snow Goose, and Prairie Dogs. Spirit Mounds climate is humid continental. It was an important point of contact between the Natives and the Euro Americans. The mound had many different importances and reasons for the different cultures and tribes. They all wanted to manipulate the spirits for their own goods and purposes. They failed and brought two types of spirits into the world, one went west to become Sasquatches and the other went east to become tree dwellers or little people.</li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li> Immigrants, Latinos and Asians, account for growing shares of South Dakota’s population and economy. Immigrants make up 2.9% of the state’s population and roughly one third of them are naturalized U.S. citizens who are eligible to vote. In the early 1800s the main largest animal population was. This has changed because of the Natives hunting and the clearing out to industrialize the land of the U.S. Now the most common animals in South Dakota are antelope, deer, elk, beaver, bobcat, porcupine, coyotes, rabbits, prairie dogs, and Bison. There were so many bison, they haven’t been completely eliminated but the population has dropped significantly.</li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>The natives that lived their 200 years ago have changed their lifestyle because they can’t hunt the same things or the same way that they used to. Now, the natives may buy the meat from a market or a store. They also have changed their houses and how they are made because they have been introduced to different ways of living and different houses and house styles. The plants haven’t had to adapt to anything or any changes because the temperature and climate has been the same since the trip that Lewis and Clark took.</li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>
