         <description><![CDATA[<div>This Group is designed to for boy and girl Elementary EL students who struggle with positive self-esteem and confidence.<br>The purpose of the this small group is to help EL students with their self-esteem while providing help in the English language. By providing a safe and supportive learning environment, the goal of the small group will enable EL students to become more confident and successful in and out of the academic setting.  <br><br>Through academic assessments, it has been determined that EL students struggle academically and socio-emotionally when learning the English language. </div>]]></description>

Due to the various populations in the group, the dynamics of the group will be special.<br><br>Stage 1 will focus on the establishment of trust. Adequate amount of time will be necessary for students to become comfortable in building trusting and safe relationships between each other. <br>Stage 2 will involve multiple activities and lessons that encourage the boys and girls to learn positive self-esteem and confidence while practicing the English language. <br>Stage 3 will conclude in the compliment project and a ceremony of success and completion. </div>]]></description>
