The purpose of the this small group is to help EL students with their self-esteem while providing help in the English language. By providing a safe and supportive learning environment, the goal of the small group will enable EL students to become more confident and successful in and out of the academic setting.

Stage 1 will focus on the establishment of trust. Adequate amount of time will be necessary for students to become comfortable in building trusting and safe relationships between each other. 
Stage 2 will involve multiple activities and lessons that encourage the boys and girls to learn positive self-esteem and confidence while practicing the English language.
