         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>LOCATION: </strong>It is a city that integrates the United States of America, consisting of five districts, which are Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. Most of New York is on three islands: Manhattan, Staten Island and Long Island, making construction land sparse and thus generating a high population density.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>CLIMATE: </strong>New York has a humid continental climate, has cold winters, but the coastal location of the city maintains temperatures a little warmer than in the interior regions. Spring and fall are erratic, and can range from cold and snowy to warm and humid.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>LIFESTILE: </strong>New York City has great importance in international trade and business, being one of the centers of the world economy. The city is one of the major centers of finance, insurance, real estate, media and arts in the United States.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Tourism is one of the main economic activities of the city, with 40 million domestic and foreign tourists passing each year. Major destinations include the Empire State Building, Ellis Island, Broadway theatrical productions, museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the Bronx Zoo and the Botanical Garden. The Statue of Liberty is also world famous.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>EDUCATION:</strong> The public school system depends on the New York City Department of Education and is the largest in the United States. There are 900 private educational institutions, both secular and religious, as well as some of the most prestigious private schools in the country. It has the New York Library, the Queens Public Library, and the Brooklyn Public Library.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>New York is also home to important and prestigious educational institutions such as Barnard College, Columbia University, Fordham University, New York University, Pace University, University of Berkeley, University of St. John's And Yeshiva University.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>FESTIVALS / CELEBRATION:</strong> In the United States there are many celebrations that come from the tradition of this country, one of the most important is the New Year, the idea is to spend it in the family or at friends' house and the typical Times Square at 12 o`clock, when the Ball begins its descent as millions of voices unite to count down the final seconds of the year.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
