Why do companies and people in general use GMO products?

GMOs are known to contain numerous amounts of benefits. So it very common for companies to choose GMOs for their products. GMOs are very profitable since they can be cheaper to produce. For example if you are at the super market and you are buying apples the Non-GMO apple might be more expensive than the GMO apple. So in the end companies prefer to go with GMOs since they can be cheaper and have more nutrients than traditional products.

PROS:
GMOs resist insects better than regular crops.
GMOs do not need as much pesticides as regular crops, so you consume "cleaner" food.
GMOs regularly have more yield and this means that the prices can be lowered.

CONS:
Allergies may sprout because the food you eat was injected with genes of something that you are allergic to.
GMOs have antibiotic-resistant bacteria that infect around 2 million people and kill 23,000 manually.
One study made to rats indicated that GMOs contribute to cancer cell's growth and if there aren't any, they sprout.

GMOs have both good and bad in them. GMOs can be manipulated to either enrich or fortify the food or it can be both. This is extraordinary because you can obtain more nutrients from the same amount of calories and the food itself can be more resistant to bacteria and diseases. Once studied thoroughly, you can draw conclusions and our conclusion is that the pros far outnumber the cons of GMOs. We think GMOs are beneficial, useful, and nowadays, they are needed more than ever.
