The story is told by Ronnie who is the man's grandson. When Ronnie has to give a presentation at school about a personal hero, he chooses to tell the story of his grandfather's dog Hachiko.

Every day Hachiko accompanied Hidesaburō to the train station, where he took his transport to work, Hachiko returned home and in the afternoon he returned to the station to wait for his owner, but one day, its owner didn't return, he had died and Hachiko didn't want to accept it, Hachiko hoped to see him again, and until the last day of his life Hachiko went to wait for him in the same place in front of the train station.

I recommend this movie without a doubt, I will not lie to you, it can have a slow tempo, but people who like this genre and don't dislike shedding a tear, will love this movie. Even those who are not fans of the drama, it is simply a beautiful movie.
