         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ganges River and Red River</div><div>Similarities</div><div>Alluvial:</div><div>- The Red River accumulates alluvium to create a large fertile delta that is the area of agricultural production.</div><div>- With the large amount of alluvium that the Ganges brings to the south of the plain - the Sundarbans archipelago has a system of alluvial islands and covered mangroves recognized as a World Heritage Site.</div><div>Pollution:</div><div>- Currently, the Red River is especially polluted, with people's waste pouring directly into the river, as well as domestic sewage, wastewater from factories along this river, making the water color in the river always black. It cannot be called by its own name, the Red River.</div><div>- The pollution level of the Ganges always spikes during the pilgrimage season in May and June, when thousands of people flock. Pilgrims use Ganges water to drink or bathe, with the belief that the sacred flow will wash away all sins.&nbsp;</div><div>Hydroelectric:</div><div>- The hydroelectric potential of the Ganges and its tributaries is enormous—estimates have ranged from some 51,700 to 128,700 megawatts.</div><div>The Red River hydroelectric plays an important role in the development of electricity and water supply for the Red River Delta in the dry season.</div><div>Differences</div><div>Each rivers representatives for two different civilizations:</div><div>- Ganges River related to Hindu religion&nbsp;</div><div>- Red River cult of worship Village Citadel</div><div>&nbsp;Length</div><div>- The 2,510 km long Ganges River originates in the Himalayas of North Central India, flows southeast through Bangladesh and flows into the Bay of Bengal.</div><div>- The Red River is a river with a total length of 1,149 km, originating from Yunnan, China, flowing through North Vietnam and emptying into the Gulf of Tonkin.</div>]]></description>
