What worries me the most about leading a massive project is always and always will be (I hope not) fear. It's always something to link to fear.

For example: I'm always afraid of forgetting 1 or 2 requirements which are the most important parts. Another example is if working in a group making sure you distribute work equally and effectively. More to add, I also have a phobia making the worst visual aid if it needs to be presented or having the messiest structure in your plan.

The last and most greatest fear I have is not finishing on time. Usually, that is one of the most holdbacks I have most on turning in the most beautiful project ever is the due date. It worries me to not finish on time and to have all the work you put into this massive piece of your time invalid.

I learned that if I plan ahead of time and organise what I'm going to do in how much time and complete my structure, do drafts and mostly not waste all the time I have on visual aids. Also, I think you should try to have a rubric or a checklist as you guide. I think that if I have this whole organised system I will be able to achieve my plan easily and well.

The thing that worries me the most about taking the responsibility to lead a massive project is the fear that I will be a leader no one wants to follow. What if I have a great idea, but I need a team to help me carry it out? And nobody wants to help, because they don't like the idea of "working" "under" me (even though it is more of a working together)? But what is worst for me than getting a team of volunteers that hate me, is getting a team that hate each other. If I have a team that can't function properly, I might not be able to get what I need to get done, done. And as a leader I will need to take responsibility for it.

I try to overcome this fear by about what could work out, but also being realistic and thinking about how I should act if a certain scenario was to break out.

What worries me the most about leading a massive project is about peer pressure. Everyone that is involved in your massive project looks up to you, and everyone expects you to accomplish your massive project tremendously well (for example, our IRP's in Y7). In addition, I worry also worry about procrastinating and leaving the massive project at the last most possible moment.

I overcome this by always writing important things in my personal or homework diary that I always look at every single day. Google classroom also helps me remember all of those things. As well as google classroom, I always try to do my homework on the first two days that is given.

Eventually, over time, when I realised that it's fine to make mistakes during massive projects, I slowly got used to the peer pressure, and learned myself how to deal with the stress by doing something I like when I feel upset or angry.

What worries me most about leading a massive project is that everyone in my group either ignores me or does not support me in any way. For example, when you are in a group of five and all of the other group members are not taking in your ideas, I start panicking and in some situations, I do not know what to do. In addition, some people decide to leave the project to the leader only and I am puzzled. I am unable to find what to say and sometimes none of the people help the massive project.

I sometimes overcome this by reminding everyone to work hard and when necessary, I go very serious on my group members. Furthermore, when people ignore me or discards my ideas, I remind them that this is a group project and although my ideas might be useless, we atleast have to explain why it is useless and why someone else's idea is better.

Also, if something goes wrong, I would have to take all the responsibility for it and that is a big pressure for me.

I overcome this by trying to talk with my group members a lot and asking them often if they are happy with the idea. I change the idea if the majority of the group does not like it, and alter it slightly if some do not like it.

Furthermore, I try to check in with my members' progress often to reduce mistakes. Usually, I also split up the work and give each person their share of work so that that person (who was responsible for that portion of work) and I can work on reversing the mistake together, rather than by myself, if something bad happens.

I am a procrastinator, meaning that I usually work on my projects about 1 day before it was due, which brings me into a lot of stress.

I can work on that by setting myself limits.

There are two things that worries me the most about leading a massive project. First is that I'm afraid of who I will be working with for this project. If I work with someone I can't really collaborate with, we won't be able to compromise our ideas properly.
I try to overcome this by having the best attitude because I'm leading this project so I should be the one to cheer everyone up instead to working with a frowning face. And if I do have a bright character, then maybe the person I can't collaborate with will also open up her mind a bit.

Secondly, I'm worried if everyone in my group is off-task for example: looking somewhere else or playing with little pieces of scrap paper.
I overcome this by telling them that this will also effect not just their grades if it was school work but their future, and the reputation of our group. We want to try and have the best reputation and the best piece of work we can produce. Furthermore, we want to be better than the opposing teams so we should try to put all our effort in.

I worry that I will agree on something that is bad for my group. I might be tempted by the amount of power that I hold and try to use that to make people do things exactly the way I want. I am also worried that people will not listen to me.

Listening and speaking are a major part of leadership, and if your group doesn't do anything but argue and talk, you'll eventually hold no power over the project. Having nobody to lead your group may also be the sole reason why nobody agreed on a topic or idea. It would be very disorganized.

I would overcome my worries by constantly asking people if I'm being too demanding or what to change about my leadership skill. Communication would be the key to the group's success. I would make sure that people would start talking one at a time, instead of all together and eventually, we would all vote and decide on one topic that we all agree on.

If I make a bad decision, the blame would fall on me. I feel like I would start getting a fear of letting people down and would start agreeing to whatever my group would say; since if they don't like my ideas, they won't do it. If my group won't do any of the suggestions that I made for the project, then I would be a bad leader and would have to do all the work myself. That is not considered teamwork.

But even then, maybe weeks later from when I've made a mistake, I would learn from it. And making mistakes is good, since you can change your ways and improve. You just can't make so many of them that they will hurt your team and project permanently.

The two things which worry me the most about leading a massive projects is that if I make a mistake right at the end, everyone else will fail with me which will really make me sad that I failed them and that they will probably hate me. Secondly, the pressure is sometimes too much because usually people either don't bring or do what they're supposed to do. Or 1 person has 1 idea and another person has another idea and you can only have 1 idea.

I would overcome my first worry by always listening to the instructions and reading them so I don't make mistakes and at the end of the project I will ask different people to check the instructions and to see if we did what was required.

Also, I would overcome my first worry by trying to compromise and join. If everything else fails, I will ask for a vote of hands for 1 idea or the other.

Usually, I overcome this correctly and with ease but sometimes there might be exceptions. Basically, sometimes it will always happen at least once in your life that people will disagree with and idea or fight with someone. It's natural and I understand that.

It's probably the fear of failure that worries me mostly when leading a massive project. Since I am the one in charge, any negative results or problems that form from the projects would be my fault. After all, this would be in a case that I took maximum responsibility. I think this part of leadership is what overwhelms me greatly.

Although it is the failure that these worries root from, I think that the outcomes rather are least related to fixing the problem. With no need to do anything else, I think a mandatory step is to just try it, and get into the habit of 'just doing it'.

This is my philosophy relating to worries, and my personal rules I try and follow. To be frank however, It hasn't really been working out to well. I guess my attempt of self improvement was only one-sided, and it could simply make me reckless, not courageous.

The thing that makes me worry the most about leading a massive project is responsibility and the pressure that I get while doing the project. I need to be responsible for leading the project as a leader. Everybody depends and relies on me and I am not good at handling the stress and the pressure I get from others when they have many expectations for me. The part I worry about the most is when my teammates get disappointed by my failure.

I overcome this problem by thinking that I need to try my best at everything because I can't predict the final outcome. I try my best to get out of my comfort zone and to be brave and take the responsibility. I always say to myself that my success is my teammates' success and that I need to try my best and achieve the common goal that we all have.
In addition, I also always write down what I need to work on for the project so I will get reminded of what I need to do.

Eventually, I do overcome this problem by using these ways to become a successful leader for the group project. In my opinion, the most important thing about leading a massive project is courage, confidence, and responsibility.

What worries me the most about leading a massive project is the responsibility and roles of a "leader". Being a leader of this kind of massive project means you have more responsibility than others, and I feel pressured because I think making a mistake would mean people will be disappointed in me, especially if I have the role of a "leader". Leadership would mean I would be responsible of not only myself, but the whole group. Taking this role makes me quite stressed and nervous.

When I get really nervous of making mistakes, I try to overcome this by checking the information again several times and recording it. For example, to organize projects, I first use my planner to record not only the tasks set but also more details, and after this, I check with others several times, and move it onto my personal organizer.

I also try to decrease the amount of pressure by communicating constantly with my group and dividing up the roles or tasks. Since it is not only my grades/learning, but also my group's, I especially try harder in these group tasks.

I have two main things what worries me when I lead a team or project. First thing is that "What if I make a mistake or mislead a project, and mess up?" or "what if I make a mistake at the last second?" well, I don't think Anything can overcome this, think twice before you make an action? maybe? Perhaps you can't really control when do you make mistakes, and when to stop it...
Secondly, Sometimes, there are some friends that they don't really participate in a project, I mean "Nothing". So, you get lots of pressure and they drags you down because you have to something that they didn't do on the last day of submission. I think forcing him to do is probably the best way of doing this (?).

What worries me most about leading a project is disappointment and failure. If anyone is depending on me, I don't like letting them down. Since I also have confidence issues, I worry that I might stutter too much or have trouble during a presentation. In this situation, if I am leading, then all fingers will be pointed at me if anything goes wrong, which leads to disappointment of others.

As an example; if something wasn't working or we had any technical issues, I would feel as if I had let down my whole team, as everyone (hopefully) would have put lots of effort into the project.

Another issue I usually deal with is procrastination. I know I shouldn't be doing it, but I don't stop. Even though I try to convince myself that I work better at the last minute, sometimes my work looks sloppy and rushed. Sometimes I procrastinate so much that I actually forget to do what I was supposed to, which again leads to the first issue.

To deal with these issues, I try to surround myself while working with people that will tell me off if I get off-task, have a couple of 5-minute breaks after a while and use apps to help me get organised, which usually helps with the procrastinating. In my opinion, the first issue is a lot harder for me to overcome on my own, but usually I have friends and family that supports me, which mostly gets rid of some of my anxiousness.

I have three main things that stresses me out when leading a massive project. The first thing is that if I did well this time, there is double the amount of pressure leading up to the next project. In my head, a little voice tells me "If you do well this time, they're gonna pick me as a leader next time and next time YOU have the pressure of doing better". The second thing that worries me is that all the pressure of your teammates counting on you to do well and if you fail, your teammates will hate/dislike you. My last worry is what if we can't work well together. This is one of the most constant fears that keep coming up in my head when we choose/find the teams out.

In order to overcome these problems, I think I should start by taking deep breaths and calming myself down before I go into the room. In addition, when I'm stressed, I should go outside to take some breaths.

I also think that stress is what will effect me the most because having stress will cause me to get less sleep, and I will constantly think that the project's failure is caused by me.
In order to deal with these two major problems, I always try my best to urge our team to finish our project as early as possible without causing anybody any stress, humiliation, or even being left out. I will also try to plan an idea precisely then give EVERYONE roles, and ask for other suggestions while planning.

The two things that make me the most nervous are when I create something something that I am proud of and others in my group feeling disappointed that the outcome wasn't better or as good as it could have been even if I have been working as hard as I can on the project, especially if they have barely contributed to the group effort. The second thing that makes me nervous is making others feel left out. I don't want them to feel like the can't have their ideas heard or do any work that they can feel proud of in our project. I have been in situations where people take all the most important parts of a project and leave me to do nothing or even get my ideas heard at all! I also don't want to be the one that does all the work leaving others to just sign their name.

To overcome the first issue I like to go through the steps systematically, making sure that everyone has had a chance to do what they can to improve our project. To overcome the second one I usually have people assign and agree with roles before we start to do anything. This makes sure that everyone has an equal job that they are happy doing.

Most of the time I do accomplish my tasks with everyone happy, but every once in a while there is an afterthought of the fact that I could have done this better if I only would have done this, this, or this.

What worries the most about leading a massive project is me forgetting few of the most important parts of the project. I forget things that are necessary for the project, wether it's a physical material, a piece of information, or even the due date. For an instance, I forgot materials needed for my project outside of school and struggled to finish it on time. This incident was about 6 months ago.
I somehow manage to finish projects majority of the times, but the quality isn't always how I expected it to be. I am one of those people who actually care more about the results than the procedure, (the process is important, but I think what really matters and proves me is the results) and I do really set my focus on productivity and the quality. I am mostly successful, but when I do start forgetting things for one thing, I pretty much keep "tripping" on that project, and barely manage to finish it.

To help myself with this problem, I often write important things are words that can relate to the things on objects that I am definitely going to use everyday. I put them on my books, laptops, and sometimes even on my phone. This really does help me because it is guaranteed that I will use my electronics at some point of the day, which means if I put the notes where I can see them well(wether it's digital or physically written) and remind myself with what I wrote.

For example, I'm concerned about what would happen if an important project that I was leading doesn't go by plan. If this happens I would be anxious what to do and also if there were people who was invited for the project and came to watch it I would be more worried hot to solve the problem and what to do if this situation actually happens.

When this situation actually happens, I would just skip the part that went wrong and go to the next part and carry on. Also I would try my best to keep the audiences think that nothing wrong happened because when they think they are watching a project that is not fully ready they wouldn't be contented.

This is because as a leader I think the most important thing is to have confidence and could go through a problem and solve them.

To help me overcome agreeing wrong, I try to look at all sides of the suggestions and find out whats good and bad so that I can adapt ideas to help.

What worries me the most about being a leader is the responsibility of not failing. For example, if it's by job to lead a group of people somewhere, I'm afraid I might lead them the wrong way, and the blame would fall on me.

Another problem I face is communication. If everybody is communicating clearly, then it would be easy, but that's almost never the case. Some people just don't say what they feel or want. Sometimes, it's even me when I'm frustrated.

What worries me the most about leading a massive project is the consequences of my actions as the "leader."
I'm afraid that the major choices I'll eventually have to make will transpire to be negative- disappointing my teammates who were involved. And, all of the peer and technical pressure would eventually cause a major meltdown for a long period of time.

(The role would definitely be out of my usual comfort zone- introvert)

I try to overcome this by making sure everything is followed through within a specific plan, so it won't confuse anybody. Clear communication is very crucial for large, or even small projects with multiple people. Also, not getting flustered over small mistakes is helpful; keeping calm.

So therefore, it honestly depends on the situation.... But most of the time, I would say yes.
