Surveys provide researchers with reliable, usable data. They are important because the data comes directly from the individuals you have identified in your goal. And surveys give you a detailed, systematic way to view and analyze your data.

Furthermore, according to OUP (2003), the purpose of surveys is to assist the novice researcher to produce survey work to a high standard, meaning a standard at which the results will be regarded as credible.

This reasons not only have a negative impact in daily day activities during L2 lessons but also impacts directly in the process of learning a new language. This is why, it is important for teachers to implement new strategies as much as possible so as to help students cope with every day tasks.

In consequence, we implemented strategies with music that may lead us to the expected results.

According to Humanistic methods, music helps students relax and be free stressed to activate their process of learning, in this study case, a different language.

This study case leads us to ask different questions:

Why do students find difficult to involve in English language lessons?

How can music help teachers engage students in their own learning?

Is it music an important aid in the English language classroom?
