One of the most exciting resources for me this year has been Board Builder. Teachers have the ability to find content that other teachers have made OR create their own board uniquely designed for their own classroom. This is a board I found previously made for mass. We used it as a whole group. If you log on to Discovery Education, you can find numerous SOS Strategies. They are organized by skill. Discovery Education recommended stopping throughout the video to record notes (not during the video). Then afterwards, students shared responses with each other. It helps me stay in touch with parents and share what we're doing in class in such an easy and effective way. Scheduling conferences, asking for supplies, organizing volunteers has been so simple this year! So far, parents seem to enjoy staying informed so promptly.
