As this happens the less funding results in less assets available to the students to help the succeed. Technology is a big part of this and without the proper funding to keep them up to date and in the hands of the students, it results in yet another way the students will continue to fall behind. 
That being said, today's segregation is not only towards minorities, poor white people fall not this as well.
