WRITE YOUR NAME AS THE TITLE. Using your knowledge from the Week That Changed The World Video, and the Bible, choose one person listed on the Padlet and explain how that person or group of people is responsible for Jesus' death. Use one Bible verse to support your reason. Use Matthew 27:1-56, John 18: 12-40, John 19:1-42, and Luke 23:26-56. Do not repeat reasons or Bible verses.

I believe the Roman soldiers are responsible for his death, because they are the ones who struck him and beat him. Others condemned him, but they did all the physical acts. In Matthew 27-31, it talks about how the soldiers strippers and beat him themselves, showing that they were the ones who carried out the task of killing Jesus.

I feel like Pontus Pilate is responsible for Jesus’ death because he made the decision that Jesus should die. Even though he was stuck in a pickle because, if he sent an innocent man to a death sentence he would be executed but people wanted to see him die so they can really believe that Jesus is the Son of Man and that he can save himself and the other 2 criminals being crucified too. A bible verse that helps me support my reason is Matthew 27: 24-26, it says “So when Pilate saw that he was gaining nothing, but rather that a riot is beginning, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, “I am innocent of this mans blood; see to it yourselves.” And all the people answered, “His blood be on us and our children!” Then he released for them Barabbas, and having scourged Jesus, delivered him to be crucified.

I think it’s my fault for Jesus’ death for many reasons. Such as the fact that I sin every day. From the littlest white lies to even bigger ones it’s all sin and we all do it everyday, because of these sins Jesus had to die so that we may be forgiven and allow us into heaven. Judas, the one who betrayed Jesus, in the book of matthew is a good example of a sinner. Not only did Judas betray Jesus but he did it out of his own greed for merely a few coins. Just as we sin against Jesus “betraying him” we do it out of our own greed.

They did just kill him they mock him made fun of him and gamble his what was left of this clothing.
Luke 23: 34-37And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." And they cast lots to divide his garments.
35 And the people stood by, watching, but the rulers scoffed at him, saying, "He saved others; let him save himself, if he is the Christ of God, his Chosen One!" The soldiers also mocked him, coming up and offering him sour wine and saying, "If you are the King of the Jews, save yourself!"

I believe I am responsible for Jesus’ death. In Romans 3:23-24 it states that “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” Everyone who has lived in the Earth has sinned and falles shirt of the glory of a God. God sent his son to die on the cross for us. God knew well in the future we were going to sin. So Jesus came to save us. We are the ones responsible for letting Jesus die on the cross, because we are the ones sinning. I think every sin I make is one beating Jesus took to the cross. In conclusion, I stand by my belief of how we are the ones responsible.

Pontuis Pilate is responsible for Jesus death because Jesus had done no wrong but he accused him of doing something even though Pilate didn’t even know what he was accusing Jesus of and killed him. One bible verse that supports this is Matthew 27:12-14 which says, “When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he gave no answer. 13 Then Pilate asked him, “Don’t you hear the testimony they are bringing against you?” 14 But Jesus made no reply, not even to a single charge—to the great amazement of the governor.”
