I'd say he is one of my most favourite artists of all time. My favourite album produced by Juice WRLD is called "Goodbye & Good Riddance", it's an album that tells the story of a heartbreak. Among the many songs produced by him, my favourites are Flaws And Sins and Righteous. Another reason I like Juice WRLD is because he's a really positive person. His favourite number is 999 and there's a reason for that. He once said that 6-6-6 represents the mark of the beast, and 9-9-9 means take whatever bad situation or whatever struggle you're going through and turn it into something positive. Sadly, Juice WRLD passed away on December 8th 2019.

I'm quite a big Post Malone fan and I've been listening to his music since 2020. I find a lot of his songs really motivating and positive. In addition, his lyricism and voice is amazing! My favourite songs composed by him are Rockstar, Enough Is Enough, Better Now and Hollywood's Bleeding. He's a really kind person and he really appreciates his fans. He is ranked number 27 on Spotify.

I don't listen to The Chainsmokers as much as I listen to Post Malone or Juice WRLD but I still find their music fantastic! I normally listen to The Chainsmokers while programming as their music is really upbeat. I listen to many songs by them but if I had to choose one song to call my favourite, it would have to be a song called Somebody. The Chainsmokers had a concert in Malaysia at Genting Highlands not too long ago. I didn't go for the concert because I had school, I hope that I will get the chance to see them perform sometime soon!

I want to visit Japan to admire its wonderful scenery and modern technology. However, there is another reason why I would like to visit Japan: Poke'mon. I have been a huge fan of Poke'mon ever since I was 5 years old. I used to watch the anime on a daily basis! I'm sure that I'll spend a lot of my savings if I ever visit a Poke'mon center (a Poke'mon center is a store that sells original Poke'mon merchandise).

Many people enjoy anime but did you know anime is from Japan? I'm not a big anime fan but I have watched a few series such as Pokemon and Horimiya. I really love the anime art style and that is possibly another reason why I would like to visit Japan.

Furthermore, Japan's traditional cuisines are just divine. I love ramen and I would like to try the original Japanese ramen.

Japan is a country that has 4 seasons, I would love to visit Japan during winter or spring as those are the most popular seasons to visit Japan and they are also my favourite seasons.

Poke'mon Sun and Moon had 3 seasons which equivalates to over a hundred episodes. Ash Ketchum went to a special school in this anime called a "Poke'mon School", he made 5 friends who were Lana, Lillie, Mallow, Sophocles and Kiawe and he lived with Professor Kukui. He went on to defeat all 4 Grand Trials and Necrozma, Necrozma also known as "The Blinding One" is a Poke'mon from another dimension which tried to absorb all the light in Alola and cause eternal darkness. Additionally, Ash participated in Alola's first ever Poke'mon League with his team of 6 Poke'mon which were Pikachu, Incineroar, Rowlet, Naganadel, Melmetal and Lycanroc. After defeating his rival Gladion, he won the Poke'mon League for the very first time! All the fans were really excited about this. This anime also mentioned a lot about 2 legendary Poke'mon which were Solgaleo and Lunala, considered to be the legends of Alola.

My favourite part of this anime were the Grand Trials and the battle against Necrozma. Since the anime took place on multiple islands, it felt like a vacation for Ash! I loved this anime and I will rate it a 9 out of 10.

Ash began his journey by taking on the first gym when he met a girl named Serena. Apparently, Serena met Ash a long time ago when they were still children at a summer camp. Ash invited Serena to follow him on his journey through Kalos. Ash, Clemont, Bonnie and Serena made many delightful memories together as they defeated all the gyms in Kalos. There was a villain organization called Team Flare which tried to take over Kalos with a legendary Poke'mon named Zygarde.

Thankfully, Ash and a few of his friends managed to stop them from achieving their goal. Remember the Froakie that Ash saved earlier? This Froakie evolved into a Frogadier and then a Greninja but there was something different about this Greninja. In the midst of a tough battle, Ash's Greninja started becoming stronger and much faster, even it's appearance changed to look slightly like Ash! Some would say it's Mega Evolution, however Greninja can't Mega Evolve. The Kalos professor called this change a "Bond Phenomenon" and it happened because Ash and his Greninja had an extremely strong bond.

He used this to his advantage in many battles including the Kalos Poke'mon League. Sadly, Ash lost in the Poke'mon league finals. Fans were quite upset about this as Greninja was his strongest Poke'mon ever and he still could not win.

The Poke'mon League gives me a really bittersweet feeling. Even though it is really exciting to watch Ash battle the strongest Poke'mon trainers in the region, the Poke'mon League marks that the end of the series will be in just a couple of episodes. I felt really sad watching Ash say goodbye to his friends and Greninja before leaving to the next region.

My favourite part of this anime was the Bond Phenomenon, the subtle romance between Ash and Serena, the rise of Zygarde and much more. I rate this series a 10/10. (I would give it an 11 if I could)

I first talked to him when we played football at the park for the first time, it definitely felt weird playing football with someone other than my family. After a while, we got closer and made many more friends together, all through playing sports. During MCO, I would always play online games with him, especially Brawl Stars.

He has been to my house multiple times for birthday parties and events. I go to his house quite frequently to play card games. We normally meet each other at the park from 5-7:30 in the evening to play sports and talk with our other friends. He has actually influenced and changed me so much over the years, he would sometimes criticize the way I play sports, which made me much better at them. He would also occasionally test my knowledge in geography, biology and more.

Since I am in college now, I only meet him during the holidays. However sometimes, he still texts me through Instagram or WhatsApp. In conclusion, Shaarvin is a really supporting person as he always pushes me forward, an intelligent person because he is really good in his academics and a really athletic person since he always plays sports.

11 year old me would respond with: I'm not sure, maybe just a regular secondary school.

I never expected to enter college at the age of 13, it all happened so suddenly. Before I explain about my first day at school, allow me to explain how I got here. Early 2022, my school called all of the students to the computer lab to take a test, this test was called UKM 1. I took the test and answered almost every single question just based on my instinct. A few months later, me and some other students from my school were invited to take UKM 2, which was held at SMK Bukit Jalil. The test this time was a lot more harder but I still tried my very best to answer every single question within the time limit. Once the test was over, I didn't really think about it for a couple of months until my school received an invitation for me to join PPCS 2022, at this moment, I really did not feel like going for PPCS, I did not want to be away from my parents for 2 whole weeks! However, I forced my self to deal with it and go for the camp.

My course was genetic engineering, if I'm being honest, I did not like biology at the time and was quite scared to learn about it. I also really disliked the shower and hostel, I can still remember the thoughts going through my head as the cold shower water poured down on me. "Why did I come here?", "When is this camp going to end?" and "Is this really worth it?" were the thoughts going through my head.

I tried my very best to make some friends and avoid these negative thoughts. Some of the friends I made in PPCS are still with me in KPPN today. Adam Cheah, Jyn-Wei, Benjamin and Luqman Hakim were all my PPCS coursemates and we are all still friends to this day! It turns out genetic engineering wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, I actually learned a lot and even became one of the top scorers in the class!

On exhibition day, we had to present about genetic engineering to guests, which were none other than the student's parents. I was selected to present about genetic engineering alongside Jyn-Wei since we seemed to have the most knowledge in the topic. My parents visited me on that day and I was super excited to see them as I had not gotten the opportunity to text them for a whole week! After a few more days, I finally went back home, I was so excited to go home, I almost cried out of happiness.

I took my room keys and walked towards the hostel which I'm going to be living in, my room was D-2F-44. My roommate was a foundation 2 student, he was my senior. The room gave me traumatizing memories of PPCS and I didn't like it. Once I had fully settled in, I went to say goodbye to my parents, I found this really hard as I have always been really close to them. My life in high school had just begun, I went to have lunch at the cafeteria and made a few new friends! After that, I went back to my room and texted my parents. A few friends came to my room and we talked until it was dinner time. We ate dinner together and proceeded to go to moral slot which was held at one of the classes. We introduced ourselves and I got to know the names of most of my batchmates which was great! It was a tiring day, I decided to sleep after calling my parents which was at 11:30 in the night.

My animation was about a cat named Draco who went on a journey to find a buried treasure in an abandoned ship called the Tinatic (it's not a spelling error, the abandoned ship in my animation was called "Tinatic"). I definitely did not have enough time to create the entire Poke'mon game in Scratch, so I settled for a more simplified version where the player will only need to battle against 5 trainers by using 3 Poke'mon. The player can obtain these 3 Poke'mon by clicking the question mark icon, the question mark icon will spawn in a random Poke'mon for the player to catch. I decided to modify the concept of Poke'mon slighty by changing the trainers to people in Kolej PERMATA@Pintar Negara! The 5 trainers were Chien Chyn, Jacob, Wei Yang, Mitesh and Madam Zulaikha. In order to win the game, you are required to defeat all the trainers with at least 1 Poke'mon still conscious, if all your Poke'mon faint while battling, you lose the game. The goal of my company is to reduce the amount of light pollution in the atmosphere with a hope to see the stars clearly in the night sky once again, which is why I named my company "Celestial Tech". I came up with two products called Lesight and Tinet, both these products are related to reducing the amount of chemicals emitted by lights. This website took my around 2 weeks to make and I was really proud of it! Although the website design wasn't the best, there were many amazing features that no one else had!

My partner was my close friend and classmate Arshad, we decided to make a company that provides disk jockey (DJ) services since we both really enjoy listening to music. I would work more on the backend and Arshad would do most of the design and frontend, we worked really well as a team and managed to complete the project on time. Me and Arshad were not the best at designing websites but both of us are really good in making the website interactive by adding unique features. We had this special feature that no one else had, it was a chatbot which allowed the user to ask questions about our company. The chatbot would respond within 5 seconds and provide a detailed explanation based on our company's data! Everyone found this really cool and was not sure on how we did it.

This year, I got the position of Exco Academic once again. Many students and lecturers asked me, "Why didn't you go for a position in Masters?". I had one justification to why I didn't run for masters, being an Exco Academic gives me positive pressure to maintain my grades. I also love the job scope of an Exco Academic and I hope that I will be able to guide all the students to success alongside the other Exco Academics.

As mentioned in the hobbies section, I really enjoy programming, so I have always wanted a job that involved programming. This is why I chose software engineer as my ambition. Software engineers use their programming language to manipulate data, manage systems, design webs and much more. They have really high salary too! I constantly use this as my motivation to keep programming and expanding my knowledge. The software engineer industry is quite huge and there many smaller divisions within the industry such as game developer, data scientist and security engineer.

However, the division that intrigues me is the AI (Artificial Intelligence) division. Many people use ChatGPT on a daily basis but some may not even know how it works. It is my dream to learn more about AI and put it's powers to good use. The perfect job for a person who wants to learn more about AI and enhance their programming skills is an AI engineer. Thus, my goal and ambition is to become an AI engineer.

This is a memorable quote from the movie, Lion King. I find this quote really motivational as it tells us to learn from our past mistakes, not run away from them.

This quote basically talks about how each day had different experiences which brought Ash to where he is today, every single day mattered. This teaches us to never take a single day for granted as experiences are what makes us who we are today.

The school holiday had just begun and I was really thrilled to go back home! During the holiday I did many fun activities with my friends and family.

I started my holiday by playing basketball at the park, I didn't play basketball for a few weeks which made it quite difficult for me to score. The next day, me and my family headed to a homestay in Selangor for my grandmother's birthday party, I got the opportunity to meet all my cousins! The homestay came with a huge pool which made me have the constant urge to go swimming. I did go for a late night swim with my cousins!

Once I got home from the homestay, I started to work on my game for a competition called Scratch Olympiad. Scratch Olympiad is a competition where students all over Malaysia will compete to make the best game based on a given topic. During my holidays, I also went ice skating with my sister, it was really fun! My parents brought me to a shopping mall that had just recently opened, the mall is called TRX Exchange. We walked around the mall for a couple of hours and had lunch there, the mall was really crowded probably because we were there on a public holiday.

The end of the holiday was arriving and I had to go back to school in just a few more days. I went to Suria KLCC with a few of my friends to watch a movie and attempt a breakout room. It was certainly a new experience for me as I had never been inside a breakout room before! I can't wait for the next holiday!

This year, teacher Zaem selected me to represent the school for MSSD Merentas Desa alongside a few other students from the Seremban campus. I was not ready for this, I had not trained running ever since the school's sports day last year and I had to run 6 whole kilometers this year! With only 4 days before the race, I started training. I ran every single day from 5:00 - 6:15 in the evening and after a while, I got much faster. My aim for this competition was not to win but to at least be in the top 100 fastest runners.

The road we ran on had so many uphills which made the run much harder than it should be. Furthermore, there were no water stations at all and the sun was scorching! However, I forced myself to finish the race and I completed it within less than 30 minutes which wasn't too bad. After the race ended, I felt like lying on the ground but I really did not want to embarrass myself in front of so many people. I got 59th place if you were wondering.

At the same time, I was also running to become the Exco Academic for foundation 2 Digital Innovator Program students. Fortunately, I only had one competitor who goes by the name of Luqman Hakim. In order to defeat him, I needed to promote myself towards the students and lecturers. I did this by creating an entertaining video where I talk about my strengths and manifestos, I also personally messaged a lot of people to ensure that everyone is aware that I am running for Exco Academic. Additionally, I pasted my posters in every single classroom! I kept promoting myself until the day students and lecturers had to cast their votes. That night, the results were announced. I became the new Exco Academic for the year 2024/2025 and I felt so relieved. In conclusion, running for MTP was an experience which made me feel nervous and stress but in the end it was all worth it!

1. Organising a field trip for all Digital Innovator Program students.

2. Guide students in their academics, especially in Digital Innovator Program subjects which are computer science, project based learning and technopreneurship.

3. Ensure that all Pure Science and Digital Innovator Program students know at least 1 programming language.

4. Organise a program where the cleanest and most beautiful class will receive an award.

5. Establish a sharing session for students before exams to help them answer questions more confidently.

If I'm being honest, nothing really exciting happened during this week except for the Hari Raya celebration at Bangi, so this post is going to completely be about that celebration.

It is a tradition in Kolej PERMATA@Pintar Negara to have annual Hari Raya celebrations. This year we had the celebration at Bangi which meant all Seremban students had to take a bus there. The bus arrived at 7:30 in the morning and we left Seremban at around 7:45. It was a 40 minute drive to Bangi and I didn't have much things to do in the bus since most of my assignments required a laptop. Although, we did get our smartphones which meant I could try to do my assignments on my phone. It definitely wasn't an efficient method to complete my assignments but at least it worked.

Once we arrived in Bangi, I met most of my foundation 3 seniors who were in Seremban with us last year. Although I wasn't really close to the seniors, it felt really nice to see them after such a long time. I spent most of my time at Bangi eating food, completing my assignments and taking photos. They ordered really delicious food such as Curry Mee, Rendang Chicken and ice cream. I took many photos with my close friends and classmates, it felt wonderful to have a short break before going back to my usual study routine the next day.

After spending a couple of hours in Bangi, it got quite boring but thankfully there were performances. It felt really lively because people were singing, dancing and playing instruments. At 2:00 in the afternoon, we headed back to Seremban. Most people fell asleep in the bus probably because of how exhausting and fun the day was. I spent the rest of my week doing assignments and playing sports like how I usually do.

Personally, I think this was the most stressful week of the entire semester! Throughout the week, I was really busy with competitions, presentations and events.

Firstly, my PBL assignment was due this week. This was a team assignment and my teammates were Muhammad and Arshad, we were making a simple tower defence game using JavaScript. Me and Arshad were the programmers and Muhammad was the graphic designer. Everything was going well until I realised the the character were not completed yet! I was really stressed because we had to present our game the next day without character designs. Fortunately, Madam Zulaikha focused more on the features of our game and not the design.

On the day of our PBL presentation, I also had 2 other competitions! The first one was called BugCrusher. In BugCrusher we are given a game that is full of bugs and problems, it is our goal to debug the game and enhance it within a given time. My teammates were Jayden and Jacob. Throughout BugCrusher, we faced various problems which slowed down the debugging process. The other competition was called Beaver Computational Thinking, it was a problem solving competition which I actually found quite fun!

On top of all that, we had teacher's day on the same week. Since I'm part of the MTP, I played a big role in ensuring the event ran smoothly. The Exco Academic team was in charge of creating invitations, printing resources, packing the gift bags and much more. Fortunately, Sir Saiful was there to assist us. I'm happy to say that teacher's day was a great success and I am looking forward to host more events as a MTP.

The reason I chose Nicol David to be my role model is because she is a really brave and disciplined person. She also has a mindset called "Winner's Mentality", people with this mindset will never lose hope even when in the toughest situations. I hope to be like Nicol David in the future, I am working on developing a better mindset similar to Nicol David's.

After creating the company, we started developing our first product, PlaDex. It's an all-in-one plant application to help raise awareness of plants in citizens and even encourages sustainable practices, especially among the younger generation. Pladex has four main features:

PlaDex's plant market is a trusted medium where users can purchase products from authorized sellers online, some of the products sold in the plant market include mini plants, seeds and fertilizer.

Background

Thaipusam is celebrated on the first full moon day of the 10th month in the Tamil calendar, this results in it being invariably celebrated during late January or early February. The true reason why us Hindus celebrate Thaipusam is to commemorate the victory of Lord Murugan against a demon named Surapadman.

How It Is Celebrated

During Thaipusam day, us Hindus normally wear the colour yellow and visit our local temple to pray and provide offerings for Lord Murugan, normally in the form of cow milk. Due to the significance of this festival, temples will be overflowing with Hindu devotees playing drums, dancing and chanting prayers which creates a really loud but at the same time lively atmosphere.

My Thaipusam 2026

My family celebrated Thaipusam at Batu Caves, Malaysia because it contains an auspicious Lord Murugan shrine and is known for being the home of the liveliest and largest Thaipusam celebration in the world, with over 2 million devotees! To show our respect and gratitude for Lord Murugan, me and my family carried milk in a pot (known as Pal Kudam in Tamil) and walked barefoot to the temple where we would offer the milk to our deity.

As a whole, Thaipusam this year was really enjoyable for me, I learned a lot about my religion and got to create wonderful memories with my family!

In case you didn't know, I actually had a squash tournament about a week before this run and I actually sprained my ankle during one of the games. Everyone told me to rest for a few days to recover from that nasty sprain but did I listen? Of course not, I continued to train for my run anyways without taking any rest, not only that, I even did some heavy interval training!

As a result of my foolish actions, I had to run with an injured ankle that significantly affected my performance. As the saying goes, "You made your bed, now you have to lie in it". This experience serves as a reminder for myself to always prioritize recovery over training.
