Even though I could say no to things they were doing, I didn't want to be a part of them because it was my reputation that was at stake.

I enjoy being friends with everyone. Just because I sit with one small group at the lunch table, that doesn't make them my "group," or "clique." That makes them only a fraction of my friends.
