I think we should learn that even if someone lives in a place you think you know about, you really don't know what their life is like. Like with all the stories that she told, it was interesting to see how the perspective of her roommate varied from the actual truth just because the roommate had only seen one side her whole life. The part that we should take away from her experience is that, judging is human nature. More often than not, everyone has made speculations about someone because they've listened to it.
