The visual message is both emotional and terrifying because it highlights the harm that causes to children when their parents drinking behaviour are getting way out of hand. Apparently, over consumption of alcohol is a real life problem and legal actions should be taken in order for this to stop.

2. Apart from this ad being able to scare people, the textual message is proved to be effective due to the fact that the ad includes a strong message about how unpleasant and horrifying the alcoholic parents appear to their kids. It’s a wake up call to stop the parents from drinking irresponsibly and getting drunk in front of their children.

3. This ad also stresses on the point that the parent’s alone are responsible on how their kids perceive them.

4. Besides that, it is also interesting to see that these alcoholic parents in the ad are going about doing what a normal parent does. Things such as attending the child’s soccer match, dropping the child off to school, strapping the seat belt on and etc., it’s just that they’re dressed as frightening-looking monsters. All in all, it just goes to show that people who don't drink responsibly (yes only those who don’t drink RESPONSIBLY) are monsters. To conclude, I personally think that this PSA did a great job at being able to get their message across.

It is only about 45 seconds. That way it holds the viewers attention and passes on the message effectively.

2. This video begins with a lady driving on dark highway. A classic P. Ramlee song plays on the radio which I think is an attention grabber to those who knows him. The lady sneezes and a hand appears from the back seat giving her tissue. She quickly realises its a ghost and slams the breaks sending her flying out of the wind shield. The ghost then gets scolded by her mother since she was not strapped on a seat belt.

3. I admire this TVC because of its genius. It utilizes horror and comedy to send out a powerful yet simple message about how important it is to wear a seatbelt. Plus im a huge fan of ghosts so I think it was a smart idea to use that theme in the TVC since it plays a significant part in the malaysian culture.
