In this new society, everyone would follow Mao's ideas and work for the better or good. However, just like the other program "The Great Leap Forward", this idea was also a disaster. Many people that were not being loyal to Mao were sent to prison. Schools were closed for student to join which meant that they were getting a brain drain because people are not being educated. Also, new jobs have opened up and workers are gaining more money that could help support them. Some cons were that the places with SEZs became rich but a lot of place are still poor which makes a huge gap between rich and poor. Also, another problem is that since the population is becoming bigger in SEZs and the jobs are getting full, some people can't get jobs.
