I am a typical southern girl from a coastal province---Zhejiang, China. 
I have a dream to become a director of producer of a reality show in the future since I was a middle school student. 
Four years ago, I was admitted to St. John’s University, studying in Communication Arts. This was where I began to pursue my dream in Mass Media. 
My past three-years of college life was proved to one of the most progressive，satisfying and fulfilling periods during my schooling career without any doubt. I kept challenging myself and soon adopted myself to college life. It's my first internship in the United States. I was working as Assistant Director of “Chinese Songs Of Campus” Reality Show with producers, directors and other team members. In addition to marketing this program to the associations and organizations in college and social media, I am also responsible for creating promotional videos for program, carrying out research and analyzing database and information that relates TV Shows or singing competitions.

At first, my dream came just because the entertainment industry attracted me a lot，and I also indulged myself in watching reality shows. But along with the increasing of age, and my thoughts gradually become more and more mature, I began to analyze the television program from aspects of topic choosing, orientation and structure. For example, hosts for American Talk shows, like Ellen DeGeneres, always make audiences feel relaxed, involved and uninhibited. Conversation topic is wide-ranging, combining comedy, celebrity, musical guests and human-interest stories. The genre of Korean reality shows are more diverse not only in the design of the program segments but in the production of props. I feel I found a lot of fun and interest in it. At the same time, I found the lack of the social media in China, especially under the restriction of the Entertainment programs from Chinese government. The constrained environment conspired to limit the display of individual creative abilities. I deem to ensure more people to be able to get more accurate information, make this world more fair and honest, and make our life more colorful through my efforts. This is my definition of a meaningful life.
I know the path to dreams may not be smooth and wide, even some sacrifices are needed.
