“Quality Management” is taught by Erik Weytjens, an experienced manager and management consultant. 

The course has two learning objectives for the students:

-    Understanding “process thinking”, “total quality management” and “lean thinking” as basic ingredients of modern management and continuous improvement, in today’s hyper-competitive economy.  The course is organized as a series of lectures which are a mixture of theory and practical classroom exercises. 
-    Practicing the art of writing of a paper.  There is no exam but you will write a paper, in groups of 3 – 4 students.  You will select a company of your choice and a process in this company.  Then you will be make a literature survey, interview the quality manager or lean manager, analyze the process and propose recommendations.  Teacher can coach the groups if they request so.  

Classes: Series of 6 seminars with a duration of 4 hours each + the writing of a paper.

It consists of a deeper dive into digital marketing following the introduction of the second year course as well as more practical applications of the relevant tools and techniques.

Have strong credentials (portfolio) to present to employer (corporate, agency or freelance, entrepreneur).
