The school in general felt very welcoming to me as a visitor. Staff and students were friendly and willing to engage in conversation and offer assistance. On several occasions I asked students for directions around the school and they helped without hesitation.

The door murals throughout the school give a wonderful sense of student participation in creating ‘personality’ in the building.

The Reconciliation Room is a beautiful and welcoming space that was co-created with students.

The Hub is an inviting space and important central place for students to access resources. School counseling staff are working hard to connect with and support as many students as possible.

Teachers seem to clearly care deeply about their students as individuals and their students’ learning. They want to connect with students and help them be as successful as possible in the courses they teach.

The EA team are clearly very dedicated and know the students they work with well. Their comments during the EA/IST team meeting were very thoughtful and it is clear they want to be guided in how they can support inclusion in classrooms.

When considering that my son is attending next year, there aren't any teachers who I would be concerned with teaching him. Some might be a better fit, but all would care for him and be dedicated to him learning within their subject areas.

I think we're doing good work in striking a balance between different learning approaches for students, both in curricular and extracurricular activities. There is a strong athletics program, but the arts are present and vibrant, and I've received a lot of support for other clubs that engage with students who don't "fit" into other traditional areas (such as Student Council and our D&D club).
