Students want to learn. The best way they can do so is by listening to teachers. But what if the teachers can also be students? Some teachers have this old conception about the teaching system, which in some cases was affected by communism. Students, on the other hand, have a fresh and realistic mindset about the world. They receive and understand the information better, and so explaining it more easily to the other students in workshops and activities. This empowers them, the opportunity to take the lead in their education, to explore their passions and to develop the skills they need to succeed appears.
Considering this, students should be protagonists because they are the ones driving their own learning journey.

Students take an active role in their learning process when they are viewed as protagonists. They gain a sense of ownership, individualized learning opportunities, crucial skills, more involvement, and training for upcoming leadership positions. Students are better off as well as society as a whole when they are given the opportunity to be protagonists in their own learning.

Why should students be the protagonist? Do they need to tell their opinion?
Yes. The children need to express their emotions and feel free to speak out.
A student shouldn't be afraid to speak about something, feeling like they might be judged or might get dirty looks from everyone. Anyone should express how they feel and don't need to feel judged
The students might have better ideas to make school a much safer zone for opinions and emotions.
Sometimes we all are afraid to speak for ourselves but we need to overcome this fear.
Students are an important source of innovation and creativity and can be a driving force in the development of society. By encouraging and supporting students to follow their passions and development .
We, students should be protagonists because we are the future and can bring positive change to the world.

This year I've been involved with my students in an eTwinning project. I've observed how they have been active participants of the different activities. My role as a teacher has been like a guide, but all the task (above all the digital ones) have been completed by them. They have appreciated all the moments of the project and I' ve really liked theie enthusiasm.

My pupils are very young: they're 7/8 years old. They're involved in eTwinning projects and are the real protagonists of the learning process. Before making any decision we brainstorm and decide together what to do and how to do it. Of course the teacher guides them and moderates their interventions.

The students participated in the citizen project with the aim of building a bridge between generations with songs and stories. We designed activities together, researched laws on humanitarian work. The students presented the project to their teachers at the teachers' council. They were presented with seven steps in the implementation of the project. For the first time, this project was carried out in our school and they really were instructors for their teachers.

Why should students be protagonists? That is indeed a very good question, that could be answered in many ways, depending on the person.
As you all know, in schools, students are not aloud to speak their mind freely. And why is that? It is considered disrespectful towards the person that is teaching. But the question is.. Why? Why is it disrespectful to do so? Why are we, students, not allowed to speak our mind like the teachers do all of the time? What is so disrespectful in expressing your opinion? That is something I will never understand.
Now let’s return to the main subject: why should students be protagonists? The are a lot of reasons. One would be that it will help our communicating skills and help us fight anxiety when talking, knowing that no one will tell us to shut up if we just simply say our opinion. Another one would be that we have great opinions about things (at least the most of us). There are plenty of other reasons, as I said.
So in short, students should be protagonists just for the simple reason that we are also human beings whose opinions want to be heard and respected, just like yours.

This year we were involved to take part in 2 projects. For my preschool children the activities were interesting, useful,emotional. They had skills to vote, to take decisions, choose materials, work in groups, create stories, to give different opinions. My role for the first day I see them was to guide them and build skills which help them to be protagonist of the learning process.

Why should children be the main characters? I consider it important in my work that all processes are child-centered. I try to do it as correctly as possible. I try to create conditions for children to know themselves, express themselves, and trust themselves. But first I have to know and understand them well. We have many projects. Including our etwinning projects.
This year, we are making materials from waste materials to make learning interesting together. again the child is in the center. Ideas are taken from them. Parents and children are involved in cooperation. Last year, my project "I am a part of the world" focused on children getting to know themselves and their surroundings. We tried to make them understand that the world is whole and we are a part of it. To achieve this, we set out from self-awareness. We got great results. We once again saw and showed that children are different and each of them is perfect. In the video that I presented, the answers that we collected from children to the question: “Imagine that you are a hero or rule the world, what would you change?”

My children are 4-6 years old. I work in a kindergarten.

Why should students be the protagonists?
In my opinion, students should be the protagonist's, especially whenever they're talking about their opinions regarding the way they're educating their students.
First of all, through this communication between a student and a teacher, both the student and the teacher learn how to communicate their ideas and opinions on an idea. On top of that, students can also learn how to efficiently and respectfully talk with someone who's older than them. Same thing goes for teachers. A lot of teachers don't know yet how to efficiently talk and express their thoughts and feelings to a student.
Second of all, a lot of the ways of teaching and presenting a lesson are outdated or can be improved to be more fun and entertaining for both students and teachers.

I think students should be protagonists because students can freely express their opinion and come to school with pleasure knowing that they will do something they like and then the teachers will also realize that school does not have to be hard for children to learn.The school should encourage children to work in a team and let them express their point of view.When students are given opportunities to take an active role in their education, they are more invested in their learning and are more likely to succeed. It also helps them develop important skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership.Students have the ability to shape their own futures and make a difference in the world. By pursuing their passions and working hard, they can achieve great things and inspire others to do the same. They are also at a unique point in their lives where they are learning and growing every day. They have the opportunity to explore new ideas, challenge themselves, and develop their skills and talents. In my classes there is a bidirectional direction regarding, as teacher learns from their students and backwards. From my point of view, even though teacher place himself in an ever going process of self-developing through research, courses and life-long learning, students has the way to keep this light sparking.
