some of the phasmids made it to a volcanic rock that is known as balls pyramid nobody knows how they got there but some people think they could of been carried by sailers or there ancenters  could of setteled there before the rats came.the lord Howe island is of the coast of Australia this island was promised to be kept for future generations.

    They were discovered in 2001 by people and were saved.The Phasmids all moved to the Balls Pyrimid  .They take 9 months to hatch and 6 months to become an adult.They are invertebrates so they have no back bone so they have to use their exoskeleton.They live in Lord Howe Island.
