-The theme of the passage is even though people could be better than others, we all have different attributes that makes us special. The passage makes it so the government changes everyone to stay the same, they give people handicaps to be equal because Harrison was different they tried to give him some handicaps and outcast him from others so everyone could feel equal, they did the same with George and gave him handicaps to stop him from thinking. This story shows that everyone is different so they take those to make them the same.
