1. Oral Stage (0-1 year):
--------The child will feel satisfaction from putting things it is mouth. Which in turn, satisfies the libido and its demands.

2. Anal Stage (1-3 years):
--------The child will feel satisfaction when defecating. Early or harsh potty training can lead to the child becoming anal-retentive (hates messes). Liberal potty training can lead to the child being anal-expulsive (messy, disorganized, etc).

3. Phallic Stage ( 3 to 5 or 6 years):
---------Sensitivity is concentrated in the genitals and masturbation (in both genders). They will realize the anatomical sex differences. Which in turns brings rivalry, jealousy, and more.

4. Lantency Stahe ( 5 or 6 to Puberty):
----------Libido is dormant. Most energy is focused towards developing new skills, and learning new things.

5. Genital Stage (Puberty to Adult):
----------Time for adolescent sexual experimentation, need for settling down with another person, and more. (McLeod, 2008)
