  • St. Patrick was born in the year 385 AD.  When Patrick was a teen he was kidnapped an sold into slavery. During his 6 years of captivity, St. Patrick turned to God in prayer. He dreamed that God told him to leave Ireland a by going down coast where a boat would be waiting for him.  He became a priest. When he escaped he had another dream. He was set another task of teaching Christianity to the Irish. He and his dispels preached and converted thousands of people and started building churches. 
  •  This shaped the world in many ways. This changed what and how people believed.
  • This shaped my existence because right now I could be a whole different religion. That could effect where live and how I live .

  •  The Renaissance was the rebirth of art and literature. It started years 1350 - 1550. Art before the renaissance mostly was about religion and everything in the painting was out of proportion. When after the renaissance, paintings became beautiful because people started to notice the beauty in the human body. The most famous Renaissance Artists were Michelangelo, Raphael Sanzio, and Donatello da Vinci.  These artist were very famous and used many different painting skills.
  • This shaped the way people thought and looked at things.  People began to notice the beauty in the Human Body.
  • This also shaped the way I look at things now. I could still be thinking that painting only mean something religious

  • Two of the most well known conflicts in North Italy ended in the 1400's.  The Treaty of Lodi also know as the Peace of Lodi was a peace argument between Venice, Milan, Florence, Naples, and the Papal States signed on April 9th 1454.  They were agreeing to honor each others current boarders and that was followed by a several decades of peace.
  • This shaped the way people treated each other and those city-states could have still been fighting today.
  • This shaped where I am living today. I could be living in the city-states if they kept on fighting for who is in power.
