Interesting points :

Found it interesting that they are focussed on their local surroundings despite and are also globally connected

They crave brands and companies that align with their values.

Their expectations from their workplace were interesting. They think and act beyond workplace hierarchies and obsolete workplace rules, 9-5, no facebook, uniforms, etc

They think and live beyond international borders. Their society is all cultures, genders, races.

Interesting how they watch a lot of documentaries.

Learning design implications:

Learning for Gen Z needs to be immediately attention-grabbing and connect with them with a story.

Integrating social media, tools, and apps they usually use into their learning.

They are reliant on Google and their peers, that is, looking up things by themselves so they don't need to be spoon-fed.

Learning activities need to clearly show relevance to reality. They want to make use of their skills straight away. So dry theory without any connection to their world. Quick wins and motivating rewards.

Inspired by the quote: 'We're not interested in the grey hairs'.

Gen Z recoil at the idea that information 'delivered' by a more 'experienced' source has an inherent authority, even if that source is Albert Einstein. In terms of learning design, this means that the learning experience needs to be two way, with plenty of opportunities for Gen Z to 'remix' learning to suit their own needs and desires.

This two way process also ties in witn Gen Z's desire to create, express themselves and be heard via social collaboration and media channels. 'Static' information, easily accessed within a few seconds, can now be a 'foundation' for creative opportunities for Gen Z students to drive the direction and final purpose for their learning experience. Although Gen Z does have an altruistic bent, there is a large WIFM (what's in it for me?) factor that needs to be considered when delivering learning to them.
