His dad is a firefighter, so it was hard for him (according to his parents) to develop a relationship with his father at a young age. There would be times his dad would be gone a couple of days at a time working overnight. A resolution to this could’ve been the workplace giving his father some time off to be with his son and build relationships with him.

As a child he wasn’t able to build relationships with other kids as well as he should’ve. With his parents working much of the day, and him living in a very small town he didn’t have much interaction with kids his age. A resolution could have been sending him to daycare to build knowledge and relationships with kids his age.

Like I mentioned before this is the stage where he started playing football. He really enjoyed it, but he often compared himself to other people better than him which made him resent the sport sometimes. A resolution to this would be to tell his parents so they could’ve let him know that he was good in his own way.

As he grew into this stage and got into middle school he began struggling with who he was as a person. He didn’t know what he wanted to pursue and struggled in academics. A resolution to this could’ve been to hire a tutor or work more one on one with him to improve his mental health.

He was often met with disapproval by his parents if he would get them wrong. A resolution for this would be to show more affection when he tried to learn so he enjoyed doing it.

He said that he was a “loner” and didn’t really like to talk to people his own age. He felt as if keeping to himself was in his best interest because he felt more mature than his peers. A resolution to this would be to open up more to his peers which is what he did his senior year. As a senior he enjoyed talking to people and branched out a lot more.
