To support maths learning, all children have access to Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS). Regular practice helps children build confidence with their times tables, improve their fluency, and recall facts more quickly.


We also subscribe to Spelling Shed, where children will be set weekly spelling activities linked to the spelling patterns they are learning in class. Children will have one week to complete the activities, with an expectation of at least three spelling games each week.

Login details for both TTRS and Spelling Shed will be sent home once the children have settled into their new classes and routines.


In addition to this, children will be given a half-termly project or a bingo-style homework.


We appreciate your support in encouraging your child to complete their homework regularly, as it plays an important role in reinforcing their learning and building positive learning habits.
