A) I admire Greta Thunberg and Yip Pin Xiu fearlessness of the media, this can bee seen when Greta Thunberg had her speech and how she openly said to everyone including the media that the things said by the people who have a higher position than her and everyone, the head of environmental development in general, that no actions have been taken to fix for example climate change. On the other hand, Yip Pin Xiu had shown her desire for more disabled people to join the Olympics even though her suggestion may feel that she’s selfish.
B) I can emulate the fearlessness in my everyday life is to help anyone who need it and also volunteer myself when we have to present my projects.

Q1. Two benefits of capital punishments is that it gives the victim’s families closure and discourages repeated criminal offences. The two cons however are that some may be wrongfully executed and to the public , there is the question of morality.
Q2.the benefits of putting money in the banks are earning the compound interest , it is now easy to invest through the banks and banks keep our money safe.
Q3Some of the ways to reducing waste in the environment are being conscious of 'Reduce, Reuse and Recycle', educate ourselves about the environment and being intentional about our buying.
Q4. The possible impact of divorce on the child are that the child’s mental health is negatively affected, relationship between child-parent is strained and there might be long-lasting psychological impact on the child.

1.What prevented me from getting higher grades?
I did not read though my essay to edit any of the spelling and think of better points to elaborate on, read more on current affairs or anything that has been happening around me.
2.what can I do to do better?
I should practice my spelling to fix errors and also be more attentive during the exam and remember to read though my work, in addition read and elaborate more in my points, I should also practice looking though more editing practices to enhance my grammar.
3.How do I feel about my first grade for English?(max 150 words)
I feel kind of disappointed in myself as I had a lot of spelling mistakes, in addition, I did not get good marks for my points because my phrasing but its mostly because of my language marks that pulled down my grade.

I liked that I was able to stay at home alone being able to play games all day was fun but I got quite sick of. It after awhile, I also liked that I was able to go back to school to make slides for an upcoming CCE or FTP period but all we did was what we had done last year. The trip back to school allowed me to communicate with others after not being able to on Friday because of HBL.
One thing I did not like about my March holidays was that I had wasted a whole day going to Malaysia and back because my father wanted to change a part of his car but the parts at the workshop were not suited for the car so we sat there for about 2-3 hours doing nothing.

Would you be keen to pick up an extreme sport? Why or why not?
Ans:
I would not pick up an extreme sports. This is cause, firstly, I already think that I have enough excitement in my life and I don’t need a rush of adrenaline that is gained from the extreme sports. Secondly, extreme sports are very dangerous, it has lead to many deaths, some examples of the such sports are skydiving and cave diving, at any moment during your skydiving experience, a subtle gust could cause you to go off course and maybe hit something causing your demise. As for cave diving, a shark could decapitate you if you weren’t focused on them and a small water current could send you into a cave wall and would cause your expiry to be early. Thus would not pick up an extreme sports.

A) which story of resilience was inspiring to you? Why?

I liked the story . As during the time when Covid-19 was still a dangerous disease, Rini , the person in the article, in her own way was helping those who were locked up and unable to go anywhere, example, those parents with month old children who are unable to leave the house to get things, the elderly who are more vulnerable to the disease, she had tried her best to provide food and necessities for them, however she had a limited amount of manpower to move the heavy supplies, although she and her few volunteers knew that the longer they stayed outside of the confines of their houses, the higher chance they could contract Covid.

I and many of my classmates ahead to endure the stress of going through PSLE and all the exams we have taken so far, and soon we will all be doing our End Of Years(EOY)for this year and get ready to choose our subjects for the next year, and after less then 2 more years, we will be taking our O-level exams to get ready to go to a polytechnic or a junior college (JC). The amount of stress each child has to endure is higher than that of the adults 30 years ago, hence the time I have shown resilience was when the time gets tough.
