According to the update, the deal will allow Rapidplay to leverage Trustly's online sports betting and iGaming payment experience to provide a cashless experience for its land casinos.

John Parsons, Trustly's vice president of gaming, said in prepared remarks that the partnership is "a pivotal innovation in directly funding games from player bank accounts through personal devices."

"We are proud to work with Light & Wonder to provide quick, safe, and instant payments on the casino floor," he added.

Cashless direct payments powered by Trustly's Open Banking system "can be deposited immediately to players without payment cards, player cards, subscriptions, or app downloads," according to the release

Direct payments can also be combined with Trustly's ID solution to help "simplify player identification, transaction approval, and customer information verification."

The announcement quoted John Wolfe, President of Global Systems and Services at Light & Wonder, as saying: "Reliable is a leader in online banking payments with a proven track record in online sports betting and we are proud to partner with them to provide cashless solutions on the casino floor."
