When I was 7 my mom got a call saying that her email needs verification. My mom knew this was a scam. She picked 2 which was no and left. She is never picking up a phone that says Span Risk EVER AGAIN!!!!!

In the article the photos of Joe Biden and Barack Obama saying I will donate double back was a harsh time for Joe and Obama because they did not do the post and the person who did the post was really smart and it seemed more real since they were both presidents and it was after covid 19.

After the Covid 19 pandemic it was a hard time and the people were having a bad time so the person who made the post was really clever and tricked a lot of people.When people were wondering where their "double money" was, the presidents Obama and Biden were so confused like this is so absurd and it turns out,the person who made the post earned probably several million dollars,I don't know.I think that the person who made the post earned lots of money,they were really smart at what they were doing and at that time,it sure made a crater impact on the USA.Let this be a example of trying your best of not getting scammed.

On April 1st, 2012, a Roblox hacker named "Ellernate" hacked a Roblox admin the same day that Merley and Minish were fighting, then Minish bought Merely's beloved domino crown, then both users got banned. And when Ellernate hacked the Roblox admin's account, he caused chaos. People were trapped in Roblox games. There were strange banners on the top of the screen saying stuff like "Playing Roblox is always better than going outside!" and also gave other accounts descriptions that are far from appropriate. Ellernate also leaked data on the players that were playing like their Email addresses. He also lowered the prices on everything in the Roblox catalog and created a strange face that soon got deleted. The next day, everything was back to normal, except for a terrified Roblox community.

basically what the article is saying is that some celebrities Twitter accounts got hacked and the hacker tweeted out that if you send me 1,000$ in cryptocurrency I will double it and tons of people fell for it because they were celebrities and people trust them to make it worse it was right after the pandemic which meant that people were going through hard times which made them think that they were giving back to the community, personally I think that what this person did was very bad and kind of smart, think about it this guy hacked through one of the biggest company's in the world firewalls. that is all about the major Twitter hack.

The Tequila school district has 3,000 students and was involved in a phishing attack, there also were other school districts targeted. Officials can't say anything else but the police and FBI are investigating. I think that they should have investigated when the first school district in the area was phished.

In Belgium a bank called crelan bank was phished for 75 million dollars! how did this happen, this is how. This bank was victim to something called whaling, the person sent an email to a high ranking representative and tricking them like a normal phishing attack. This attack was successful and they managed to get 75 million out of them like I said earler. even after this the bank is doing fine. I learned that there is something called whaling where a person pretends to be the CEO a robs the company. I also learned that even after a phishing attack companies can still run fine and recover for It I thought they just closed. My opinion on this attack is I feel it was unnecessary and the poor bank didn't deserve it.

In the Twitter account hack incident "Jeff Bezos". Said all bitcoin sent to my address will get sent back to you but doubled and he said a maximum of 50,000,000 and that's a lot of money for some one to just put out there!!!! And more then 320 people actually thought it was real and sent a total of 110,000 $ in Bitcoin to that address but they all just got scammed out of 110,000$ in bitcoin. And this all happened in 2020. So that's why you need to be care full on that type of internet/Twitter.

And since the people actually believed that it was those famous people that had sent it, they thought that it was trustworthy so they fell for it. In the article about the Twitter/Bitcoin scam, Obama and Biden's accounts both got hacked and the message said, "If you give my $1000, I'll give you $2000." My thoughts on this include being shocked that someone would even fall for this obvious scam, and that the hackers should not have gotten any money from this and that they should have not done it in the first place. I learned that one, these people got hacked and a lot of drama about it happened, and two, people are gullible, vulnerable, and not very reasonable when it comes to money.

Then in the next couple minutes Barack Obama sends almost the same text!!! This shows that Barack Obama was supporting Job Biden and his perspective. In my opinion I don't think they should have sent that text because, one, that text was not even necessary and, two, it is one easy sign for phishers to phish because it says quote quote, "I will send $2000 dollars back" So they will try to phish them for the money and hack them for fun!!

After reading this news article, 2 things stood out to me the most - phishing scams posted on Twitter/X can be easily trusted, & these posts can negatively affect the company, or person's life for at least a temporary amount of time. (For nothing they did)

As said in the article, " 'Everyone is asking me to give back,' a tweet from Mr Gates' account said. 'You send $1,000, I send you back $2,000.' " This proves that many people got deceived by this post, & was outraged that their money didn't come back doubled. This also supports the fact that the celebrities, former presidents, & companies had a harsh time during this time.

Lastly in my opinion, I wonder why people would even think they would get their money doubled if they send them within 30 minutes; it is OBVIOUSLY a scam.

On July 15th, 2020, multiple famous Twitter accounts like the official Apple account, Barack Obama's Twitter account, and Elon Musk's Twitter account got hacked, with each one saying, Send Bitcoin to a Bitcoin address and get your money doubled. The tweets were immediately taken down. However, with each tweet taken down, another one was tweeted in its place, ensuring that the hackers would get a continuous flow of money. This exposed multiple of Twitter's flaws. This doesn't just include bad cybersecurity, it also affects a gullible userbase, because on that day there would have been multiple sensible people who tweeted warnings about this bitcoin scam. But it doesn't stop there. Twitter employees could have easily coded a program that censored BTC addresses or credit card numbers, and since this scam had been going on for a couple years, twitter shouldn't have ignored the signs. Ultimately, the hackers ended up getting about $100k from the scam.

The Tukwila school district fell victim to a phishing attack in 2019. A phishing attack is a type of scam within the User domain where hackers try to get personal information out of you using fake information that seems as real as possible in order to trick you. After further research about the attack on the Tukwila school district, no information was to be found further than that they were phished; the Tukwila school district remaining elusive with what they gave out to the public. The public only knows that their Phishing attack revolved around money. The School Board Tracy Russell stated, “I can tell you that we're participating with an investigation right now, so any of our information is being given to the authorities and we're not at liberty to speak (about) any details at this time,” at a board meeting. The Tukwila school district contained 3,000 students at the time of the attack and it is unaware how the Phishing attack affected them as well.
