Call to Adventure!!

I walked across the stage earning my end of Middle School career. When I walked off of the stage I knew that it was time to end Middle School and start High School. I wasn't excited at first, but slowly as summer faded away I realized that high school would be an amazing adventure.

Challenges

The challenges I faced were getting used to the incredible work load and stress that homework has on you. I had to learn time management and learn how to balance my after school programs with my school work. But i knew that if I persisted then it would end up helping me in the end with tests, quizzes, and most of all...finals.

Crossing the Threshold

When I got onto the school campus I knew I was about to start an exciting adventure...and get horribly lost. A lot. There were so many people and I knew that I going to have to make friends.

My return was when I went home and I sat down knowing that I was free of stress for the next three weeks. I was happy that I was finally going to be able to enjoy my time at home and relax.

Carl's Call to Adventure!!

When Carl Fredrickson from the movie Up, had his call to adventure was when he hit the construction man with his cane. He was told to go to a Nursing home and get help, but he didnt want to leave his house. So, instead he blew up hundreds of balloons and went off on his adventure.

Carl's Threshold Crossing

When Carl crossed the threshold in Up was when he released the balloons and they ripped his house from it's foundation. He faced challenges even when he was on his way to the unknown world. Such as the thunderstorm, and find the little wilderness scout on his porch.

Carl's Challanges

Challenges that Carl faced were learning to accept the tag-alongs that joined him on his journey. The giant rare bird, Doug the talking dog, and the little wilderness scout. But throughout the entire journey he learns to accept them and even love them.

Carl's Return

Carl could never return to his home town nor did he want to. On his way to save his little wilderness scout that accompanied him on the journey, he ruined his house making it crumble into pieces. So, instead of returning to his house or home town he returned to Paradise Falls which is where he and his deceased wife wished to live ever since they were little.
