This picture is of my mom and I after we got our medals for completing the challenge!
It was amazing to see how many people decided to take on the challenge. I've hiked this trail consistently the past three years, but I wasn't going to do the challenge in the beginning. It wasn't until mid-August that I decided to try. I was only about half way so I really needed to commit if I wanted to finish. I actually finished the very end of September but I was doing 2, sometimes 3 hikes a day! It tested and challenged me in ways I didn't expect. I proved to myself how mentally and physically strong I am. It's a booming trend that's rapidly becoming the crowd favorite around the world.
Personally, I hopped on this train years ago and have no plans of getting off! I currently have eyelash extensions and love them. They save me time when getting ready because I don't have to apply mascara and I wake up with perfectly curled lashes. 
Eyelash extensions are so popular and there are so many people that have them. We love to go for a quick get-away, but it's not always just about relaxing. There are obviously things that need to be done and kept up on, so sometimes we go down to relax and work. We are always happy to help our grandparents. It's a small price to pay when we get to enjoy it year-round. It has taught me and my brothers the importance of hard work and taking care of our things. We take pride in the cabin and everything that goes into it. It reminds me how important family is and I love when we all get to go down and be together.
One of our traditions with the cabin is my grandma always makes this corn puff treat. If it's not made when we get there, we can count on it being made at some point, soon after we arrive! Growing up this way, it is just a natural thing we do. One year for Christmas I even asked for my own gun because I had drawn out for turkey.
Hunting is a vital wildlife management tool. It keeps nature at a healthy balance of which the available habitat can support.
