They have a variety of clothing designs which appeal to youngsters like my friends and I. For example, they have the UT series which have popular cartoon characters such as Mickey Mouse printed onto the shirt. Usually these shirts are popular since the shirts are usually very colourful. The quality of the shirts are also good that is why we go to Uniqlo to get our clothings.

However, my family and elders disagree with me. This is because they feel that spending 20 to 30 dollars on a piece of clothing is a waste of money as there are many cheaper options. For examples in the local markets a piece of shirt is sold at less than 10 dollars with is almost half or more than half the price of the shirts sold by big companies. Next, my friends, would get their clothes from thrift stores . as a result of seeing many influencers and peers posting about their thrift experience online, they are influenced to do so as well, to join in the trend. Not only is it trendy, but it is also environmentally friendly to purchase thrifted items as It helps to reduce the clothes wastage and fast fashion.

Since we do not usually buy outfit on a daily basis as we do not want to waste out money. Hence we would usually buy new outfit every 3 month or so. That would be the occasional every 3 months outing that my family would go to. While buying the clothing, in my opinion it could be also a bonding activity that my family would enjoy. Since we can relieve our stress from our hectic schedules by sharing what kind of outfit we like and how do we look in it but sharing our opinion and talking to each other is hard to come by. Hence i would say that my family like to buy from the physical store since it does help with family bonding time. 

In my friends opinion, we would usually get our clothes online as online shopping is cheaper, all sizes are available and we do not wate time because of our busy schedules. For example, on shopee, we would always click on the 'buy' button instead of waiting long. The offers are always there like 11 11 sale, Lazada and Shoppee where you will always have discount and a china online store, Taobao, where clothings are cheap.

However, some may argue that buying online can make waiting hours too long. We need to wait at least a month or 2 weeks. The older generation is not familiar with online functions and find it a waste of money. Hence some may not share the same view as me.

Hence, my friends and family get clothes from online platforms and physical stores respectively.

firstly, we tend to make judgements based on a person's clothing, which can shape our overall impression of them. for example, a person who is dressed in formal attire would be more respected and overall receive a better impression as compared to someone who is not as properly attired. This initial judgement can shape our behaviour when interacting with them, as we may act differently towards the person in formal attire.

Firstly, the condition of our clothes may show others the type of person we are.  Torn or tattered clothes may make the average person preceive us as disorganised, dirty or poor, while clothes that are clean and stainless may communicate to others that we are smart, clean or formal. 

Secondly, our attire to events also tells others who we are. Wearing wrong or inopropriate attire to events may cause others to think of us as uninformed, clueless or rude, making us stand out like a sore thumb. For example, wearing clothes with vulgar language to school environments or formal events like wedddings or funerals might get us kicked out as we are preceived as disrespectful.

However, clothes of course do not define who we are. In schools, despite all students wearing the exact same uniform, we are all our individual, interesting and unique person with unique personalities. Moreover, the attire of a formal uniform may not completely reflect on a person as they may be rude or disrespectful person. Some examples of clothes not representing a person is how the extremely rich like Mark Zuckerburg, the founder or Meta, usually dresses in a simple jumper even for product launches.

Things ranging from facial features and your attire affects how you are perceived by others. Since, others may noy get to know you yet, they might rely on your looks to gauge their first impressions of you. According to a recent study, a whopping 46% of Brits admit that they judge people on how they look for their first impressions. I'm also guilty as I used to judge people based on their appearance.

I would also agree with this statement as the way you are dressed are linked with negative stereotypes. For example, people who are well-dressed in branded clothing might be seen as rich or financially well-off while people wearing old clothing are seen as people who are poorer or financially less well-off.

Online shops like Shopee and Lazada. 
My friends are typically tech-savvy and kind find many websites to shop in. Online shopping has more options to choose from, we may even find unique and special designs. Furthermore, clothes are often priced at a cheaper and people may even find coupons that they have a one-time discount. My friends can even shop at the comfort of my own home. 

My family gets their clothes from thrift shops. My family is middle-working class, they love saving and prefer cheaper alternatives like thrift shops. My parents feel that thrifting is like an experience. Thrifting is like a treasure hunt, when you find quality finds, you experience a sense of accomplishment and feel like you hit a jackpot after finding luxury goods.

Although my friends prefer to shop online, I personally love to go down in person to retail shops (like H&M, Uniqlo) to look for clothes. I prefer to shop traditionally because I am uncertain on whether or not my purchase will appear on my doorstep and I fear that my credit card information may be stolen unknowingly. Personally, I had a relative of mine whose credit card information was stolen and she had to pay thousands of dollars because someone used her credit card to make payment.

Firstly, I have no interest in the world of fashion. Hence attending a fashion show would be not beneficial and a waste of time.
Moreover, I have never given much thought to fashion and didn't care much to what I wear. For example, since young I would always just grab whatever is on the top of the closet.
Secondly, I have been an active person since young and as result would be able to sit still for a long period of time. For example, I have never been able to sit through a full 2 hour movie. Therefore, i would think attending a fashion show would be torturous as it's usually hours and I would just end up disrupting it.

However, I do know of some people like my sister who would be interested in attending fashion shows. For example, she would always spent hours watching fashion shows and keep up with the latest new in fashion. This is due to her passion of being a fashion designer. Hence, she would be interested to find out more about the world of fashion.

However, all in all, I would still not prefer to attend a fashion show as I have no interest in the world of fashion.

Firstly, there is myraid of styles of fasion for a wide range of event. For example you would wear a suit to a more formal event and wear a singlet to a more casual and light hearted event. Thus i firmly believe that there are certain attire that is apporatiate for certain event. Secondly, there is a saying of juding the book by its cover. it means others will first look at us supercially before arriving to a conclusion about us. for example there was once where i did not adhere to the dress code while attending a wedding, hence i go many stares and judgement.
However, proponent may argue that our first imprssion is not based on our looks and appearance but by the content of our character and the way we carry ourselves. As my parents are at the more conservative side of the spectrum they believe that big fasion brands could better meet their rigorous and demanding criteria for their clothes as they believe that big companies have better quality control and better customer service. 
My friends being young they tend to be more liberial in a sense that they are willing to support smaller fasion businsses and local brands. Usually they would opt for smt that is cheap and look asethetically pleasing.

Dressing (=clothing, accessories and hairstyle) is often the first thing others notice about us. 
Experts say we size up new people and form almost-instant conclusions in somewhere between 30 seconds and two minutes of the first meeting.
A good first impression can work wonders and can help shape all future impressions, so it is important to dress appropriately for the occasion.

Style communicates a great deal about a person, helping people to recognize social status, culture and gender of others when first meeting them. It helps them to identify like-minded individuals and dressing formally or casually can greatly influence the way people interact with each other.

Dressing professionally can help form a positive impression to people we meet in the workplace. This is especially important for interviews and when meeting upper-level managers who make hiring and promotion decisions.
If we dress more formally, we may feel more comfortable and prepared for an important interview. Rumpled and wrinkled clothing is out. Shoes should be polished, not scuffed, and coordinated with our outfit. Fly-away hair or bizarre haircuts are out; make sure it is neat and well groomed.

Besides dressing, 
other factors that are also crucial to make a positive lasting impression, that can make or break that first impression, include:
1) Body language (non verbal communication eg: eye contact, smile, posture, handshake, confidence, mannerism, etiquette …)
2) Face (physical features)
3) Tone of voice (eloquence)
4) Punctuality

In conclusion,
before we can hear the new person speak or have a closer look at the facial features,
