TikTok is popular in the USA. It is used by 80 million Americans every month, and the US is also home to its biggest star, Charli D’Amelio. She has over 75 million followers.
However, the President has expressed concerns about Tik Tok which is owned by a Chinese company called ByteDance.
There have been concerns that Tik Tok takes the users’ personal data and passes it on to the Chinese government.
