My entire processfolio consists of a 3194 word essay explaining how we can use SFL and LCT to analyse how information is effectively communicated in Law. I have utilized many different types of sources such as books, journal articles and websites. I chose to do this so I could have the best overview of the topic and to help me condense all the information I have. My essay contains a bibliography and an analysis table to help the reader navigate their way through, there is also a key for the the 6 sources that I have used. I have also included two research matrix's that show my brainstorming process. There is also a link for some summary notes I have made throughout the module on SFL, LCT and from my home degree (the notes are in relation to my chosen concepts for the essay.)

There were some issues with completing my essay however this did not hinder my progress.
For example, due to personal reasons I was unable to attend the majority of the workshops which meant I had to catch up with the learning objectives in my own time. This meant I didn't get the chance to reach my full learning potential as I was essentially teaching myself the concepts of SFL and LCT. Furthermore, I didn't have direct feedback from my module tutor for my draft work as I was still catching up. To overcome this, I instead received feedback from my other module tutor and received various verbal feedback from my peers (this is also included in my processfolio) which allowed me to improve on my work.

In future, I will set myself a timeline to finish two drafts and receive feedback from the relevant tutor as they will be most knowledgeable on the topic as a whole. I feel that this task has taught me how to analyse deeper into the meaning of a piece of text instead of just looking for the information that is relevant to me at that point. I believe that this is a skill that I will utilize more often with my first year modules as they are bound to be even more academically challenging.

Also, decrease the size of your font because it's distracting." -Michael Nana

"I feel like you need to dumb your essay down a little more because for someone who hasn't come across SFL and LCT and who isn't studying law, it makes no sense when you just use all these random words." - Chanthe Powell
