I have utilized many different types of sources such as books, journal articles and websites. I chose to do this so I could have the best overview of the topic and to help me condense all the information I have. My essay contains a bibliography and an analysis table to help the reader navigate their way through, there is also a key for the the 6 sources that I have used.  I have also included two research matrix's that show my brainstorming process. For example, due to personal reasons I was unable to attend the majority of the workshops which meant I had to catch up with the learning objectives in my own time. This meant I didn't get the chance to reach my full learning potential as I was essentially teaching myself the concepts of SFL and LCT. Furthermore, I didn't have direct feedback from my module tutor for my draft work as I was still catching up. I feel that this task has taught me how to analyse deeper into the meaning of a piece of text instead of just looking for the information that is relevant to me at that point.
