my best case scenario for college would be getting into a good school that's on the west coast preferably in southern California but I am also open to going out of state it just wouldn't be my first choice but I'd still be happy. my worst case scenario would probably be going to a community college which I don't think would be the end of the world and I would find happiness either way. I think what might be getting in the way of my potential is that i do not want to leave California and all of the people that I love but I know there are some great opportunities out there for me not just in state.

What I learned yesterday that I didn't know is that there are very little colleges with classes close in size to H.S. classes. Knowing that is going to push me to be more open because having a smaller class size as a preference might not happen. Today I feel very tired and anxious. I realize that this is all coming so fast and that this is going to be a big process.

Today I am feeling less tired than I was yesterday. I had a better night's sleep and I am less anxious now that I know what this week is going to be like. Something that surprised me was that 12th grade still continues to matter even though the grades are not exactly factored in for your application.

barbara- today I'm feeling a bit more motivated to want to get into a good college and figure myself out even more. I was surprised of the amount of colleges in California alone and gave me hope that I'd find the perfect one for me.

But at the same time I'm excited because it's the start of a whole new journey.
Something that I learned yesterday was that there are lot more colleges and they all differ as UCs have a bigger # of undergrads.
