         <description><![CDATA[<p>The raw materials for PVC are derived from salt(57%) and oil(43%). The electrolysis of the salt water produces chlorine, this combined with ethylene (from oil) to form vinyl chloride monomer (VCM). Molecules of VCM are polymerized to make PVC resin.
